@beatleman1040 I'm not stuck up but John's refering to 10 shillings from the old British money (pre-Feb 1971) 10 bob was half a pound,a shilling or bob was 12 pennies ,therefore one pound was 240 pennies,no one is sure where the word bob comes from some think from the French 'bas billon', meaning debased copper money others think a connection with a "plumb-bob"heavy piece of lead used to mark a vertical position from the Mason trade ,anyway the word dates back to at least the early 1700s, 5* 4u
