she laughed because of all the stupid stuff the crowd was doing. i can't believe that they would do all that instead of listening to her. you can't really help but laugh when your nervous and most of the people in the crowd are begging for you to marry them. she really is trying, and i think that it's kinda sad that people would rather beg her to marry them during the presentation of such an important issue.

yeah the sound quality is pretty shittty, and it is extremely unfortunate that the people didn't seem to be focused on the urgency and implication of what Jolie was saying. I cannot say I know why she was randomly laughing- but I can't judge cause I've never delievered a speech in front of tons of people that have probably seen me naked while I'm talking about children's rights. It's unfortunate what Jolie did before she got into social justice things... but no reason to disrespect.

I appreciate all those things which Angie does for the refugees. But i have actually a question about her attitude: Why did she laugh after she had said "6 Million have injured and 12 Million have become homeless"? Is this fact so funny or is she not enough concentrated on her speech because of the noise of the crowd?

She was nervous. I also laugh when I'm extremely nervous... and the fact that these dumbasses weren't listening to her was just another reason for her to "crack" (for lack of a better word) under pressure. She tried to get their attention "Listen, listen!" - they just were too ignorant to LISTEN.

omg these ppl are so ignorant!!! How can you hold up a "Will You Marry Me" sign while someone is talking about the children of the world being neglected and the hell they face? Some future. Angelina is one of my heroes because even though you can tell they didn't really want to hear it, she told them it was important and pushed it. She actually uses her success for something other than buying a pair of sunglasses priced as a car. Urgh, they're not even listening to what she's saying :(

Ya know what is thoroughly disappointing (other than the poor sound quality)?--Is that some people cannot seem to get past her looks and realize the complexity and oftentimes horrifying and heartbreaking issues she speaks out on. It's great though, that she can use her celebrity to implement so much necessary good into this world.
