Thought about doing this with bolts or long screws where did u get this set? Its to far for my liking could i find a shorter set of screws?i guess i could even cut them. Btw i have the 1200 as well
@KJTechnologys Whatever threading is required to fit the particular radiator...whatever length is required to accommodate the number of fans being using.
The mount is sturdy. But wouldnt the rod transfer vibration from the radiator to the case? From silent perspective? this mount isnt possible to isolated the vibration even with rubber washers. (as the rod is not being isolated).
@MeLinhLam You have to have a metal to metal mount to keep everything in square. If you use grommets it will be bouncy. I tested this set up and did not hear any annoying sounds transmitted into the case. Although in theory you would have something coming through. I think the heavy wall tubing kills most of what you are worried about.
@trent1234108 I'm sure it's flipped because most likely he's cut a hole for a PSU intake. You're not limited to the case's design. The design can be modified, hence the term - cyber druid the MOD God...
@IHunger4Battle1 i hope it isnt on carpet then. i have this case with a corsair hx850 and the fan facing up because if your c weigs over 60lbs it just snks into carpet and even with the feet the botton still touches the floor. The hx series like the hx1000 he has in there a=has flopped stickers so it still looks rite if its fan side up.
@trent1234108 I'm sure with someone contracting CD to do it they'd realize that and put it on their desktop or another hard surface. My case even though my PSU doesn't suck air in from the bottom is on a piece of wood on the floor.
I might do that exact same thing, but instead of just mounting using 4 of those long screws ill use 8 (Mounting through both exhaust fans) It seems like it would be a little more stable. Thanks for the idea man!
what type of screws are those i cant find ones as long as them i might aswell get a coat hanger and cut it to size and make a 90 degree hook at the end and put it in the radiator self taped hole then instead of them black tubes i'll use two 120mm fan housings then into the case exausht fan then bend the remaining end of the metal pin (coat hanger) up against the 120mm fan...ill do this for ther four of them ofcourse...what do u think of my idea??would it be strong enough??
if u order the mount can u get it in a shorter version aswell? so its closer to the case? so it wont stick out that much from it. like allmost push pull config on the fans?
With the tubes straight to the rad (no fan between) the distance is about perfect for being able to still get at the DVI plugs and so on...but a little tight to use the exisitng grommets on the A1200. Xpert wanted to put the fans on the case side of the rad so it pushed it a bit further out than the last A1200 I did. However this worked out great for the plumbing. I can make them to whatever size you like in metric or standard, polished or powdercoated.

I use threaded rod cut to length.
