God this song brings back cherished memories from my childhood. My brother and I used to play this repeatedly on the record player and pretend to sing it and play the instruments lol! Great times in the 80's, beats the now, kids have more now in the way of stuff but much less in the way of the freedoms we had growing up. I used to disappear off all day in the summer with a couple of sandwiches, bottle of squash and little brother in toe and come back when our tea would be ready, bliss!

At the pub where I work, there are two bars, one very busy, and one usually very tranquil and peaceful. Sometimes I come into the quiet bar from the other one, and this song is playing and I just feel so relaxed. I actually heard this song first on 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks', I wasn't aware of the song as I am only 16, but I really like this song, great sounds.

Whenever I hear mainstream music from the 70s, I almost always find that stuff like this song, good pop songs, from that decade, sound great now - while rock from the 70s almost always sounds cheesy and dated to me.
