you're a loser and an idiot! Vietnamese uses Chinese writing characters for 1000 years... until the French came over and ruined the writing system. I've been to Hanoi and Saigon for business. Everybody there who is "anybody" can speak or read Chinese. Vietnam is influenced by Chinese culture the most among all Asian countries.. just like Korea and Japan. That's a good thing btw. So go study some more history kid!

This is the Chinese style of making noodles. Roughly translate to "hand-pulling noodles". Wheat flour comes from northern part of China, whereas in southern part or below they adapted by using rice flour instead. Hence you have Pho in Vietnam.

@denisefan in Vietnam we use both wheat and rice flour to make noodle not just only rice flour:
rice flour: Bun, Bun Bo Hue, Pho, Hu Tieu, Banh Canh,Mien, Banh Hoi ect
white flour: Mi. Mi Quang, Cao Lau ... and of course instant noodle =)
