I'll still play this for a while single player but the max level competitive multiplayer is going to be a 100% buy the latest released best in slot gear for real life cash or fall behind game. =(
@TheMadChilidogger the real-life cash items is not gonna be used for those purposes, a guy from machinima who had been on an interview. So no ur not gonna be able to spend real life cash to get "BIS" items.
They just announced that gear (including the best gear) will be for sale online for real money, you must be logged into their servers to play (no offline play at all) and no modding is allowed to prevent you from modding in gear instead of paying cash for it. Google diablo 3 cash trades and look at the rockpapershotgun or pcgamer articles for proof.
Everyone is going to play a barbarian or demon hunter. The wizard class to me has moves that are all very different, a good variety. It's not all the same stuff as other classes. Every move is different which will make the class a blast to play.
I would be perfectly happy if D3 was exactly the same game as D2 as long as they produced more original content and updated the graphics for the new decade. D2 to LOD was an amazing difference.

It would be kind of stupid if a mage could not throw a ball of fire because it was "un original" some spells are just default. Be happy that they researched new unique original spells in warcraft 3 starcraft and wow to implement into diablo to give you a wide variety of gameplay.

I was thinking of getting diablo but ive got a few question. Is it online? would anyone recommend it? and would you recommend i get 1 then 2 then 3 or just get 3?
@RiskyOvenChips You probably won't have the patience to play 1, but I will recommend it anyway. It sets the scene, feel and story of the game. You can enjoy playing Diablo just by playing 2 with it's expansion, but you'll never quite get the full awareness of the plot(which isn't complicated btw, unless you read the books [in-game and out-game hahaha!]). Diablo 2 is online, Battle net.
Overall I would recommend you get them all and play them in order. Playing D3 first will doom your soul :).

The guys from Blizzard have completed it already, but when they proceeded to try it out, they simply couldn't stop playing ---> they don't have time to release it officially :D

Wow provides extra cash so they can spend more on other games like DIII. It's not out yet because it isn't ready. I'd rather wait another year for a good game than be dissapointed. Blizzard doesn't release games till they're ready, and that's what makes them so good.

@Psquit Whats it got to do with the expansion? expansion doesnt = graphics, The point is blizzard are known for taking their time and producing high quality games so if expansion does come out in 2015 then so be it. The graphics look fine as they are really except from the trailers which wouldnt surprise me if get completley scraped and remade with better graphics

@dorgrim diablo 1 and 2 were by blizzard north and they were incredibly new and artistic and then blizzard (note-difference between blizzard and blizzard north) stole everything that made those 2 games succesful and put them in warcraft 3 and wow. then bliz north went on creating d3 but normal blizzard who hated the success of diablo canceled there game and destroyed bliz north and then the uncreative persons behind warcraft started d3 from scratch, and its evident in the cartoony graphics.

Maybe this is far-fetched ideal, but if it's possible. The game itself's gameplay value will be so much resourceful since Blizzard was the pioneer for Warcraft 3's map editor, the one company that actually explored the market value itself directly bred through DOTA and other remarkable games, all under the name of Blizzard itself. Crafty they are, and why not explore this and make D3, a project that's been on-going for six years now? A fountain that cannot be drain for ever, how's that sound? =P
Will we be able to customize arenas? I'm not saying customizing matches with our friends privately, my question is if they will give us tools to do map customizations? Even further, can we customize quests?
Don't think I need to worry about DH (demon hunter)'s choice of weapon major will only be crossbows, an always mortally ranged unit? She must be able to customize into trap-hunter or close range heavey damage dealer since we have 30 skill options and runes designed to cope customization of bulids. Since Blizzard officially stated support in character customization. Well, the lack of skills other than crossbow oriented? Really freaking me out a little. Just saying.

@Acrabcake I know right? Everyone thinks they know how to improve this game, I'd like to see them try in stead of criticizing one of the best studios in PC gaming for not doing what they want. There's a reason Blizzard is rolling in money, and it isn't doing what everybody already likes. Every one of their games is trend-setting because it does something different. It seems like they are tweaking the hell out of all the systems so the encourage awesomeness. That's worth waiting for.

Wow provides extra cash so they can spend more on other games like DIII. It's not out yet because it isn't ready. I'd rather wait another year for a good game than be dissapointed. Blizzard doesn't release games till they're ready, and that's what makes them so good.

@dorgrim diablo 1 and 2 were by blizzard north and they were incredibly new and artistic and then blizzard (note-difference between blizzard and blizzard north) stole everything that made those 2 games succesful and put them in warcraft 3 and wow. then bliz north went on creating d3 but normal blizzard who hated the success of diablo canceled there game and destroyed bliz north and then the uncreative persons behind warcraft started d3 from scratch, and its evident in the cartoony graphics.

Maybe this is far-fetched ideal, but if it's possible. The game itself's gameplay value will be so much resourceful since Blizzard was the pioneer for Warcraft 3's map editor, the one company that actually explored the market value itself directly bred through DOTA and other remarkable games, all under the name of Blizzard itself. Crafty they are, and why not explore this and make D3, a project that's been on-going for six years now? A fountain that cannot be drain for ever, how's that sound? =P

Don't think I need to worry about DH (demon hunter)'s choice of weapon major will only be crossbows, an always mortally ranged unit? She must be able to customize into trap-hunter or close range heavey damage dealer since we have 30 skill options and runes designed to cope customization of bulids. Since Blizzard officially stated support in character customization. Well, the lack of skills other than crossbow oriented? Really freaking me out a little. Just saying.
