for this song, all the strings are tuned down a half step, and then the normal low e string is tuned down another whole step

an easier way to tune the 6 string to a Db is to just put the capo on the 3rd fret and tune it to standard tuning... or tuning it 3 half steps down

idk how they really play it, but i find it easier on the part that you go from the 5th fret to the 4th fret just play the g string for the 5th. they're the same note, thats why you're supposed to tune by ear on the 5th string. makes it a lot easier

hey, awesome tutorial. i never knew u could tune a guitar using the capo. the only problem i had was when i tried to tune it that way, one of my strings broke. is there anyway around that??

wel it shouldnt break if you only tune it up a half step (capo1 tune to standard) if you try to tune up further than that though i dont recommend it

Someone told me that to drop your low E to the D flat, you can match it to the 7th fret of the A string while still in standard tuning. Is this true?

You can tune the low E down to D by matching its 7th fret to the A string. You had it backwards thats all.

Hey, this is awesome!! I just have one question for you! I just started playing guitar and my fingers are hurting so bad! Is there anything I can do to take the burning away from my fingers I use on the frets? They have not quite callused yet and I think that is the problem, but anything to make the pain go away even a little? Thanks!

Hey there, i am sorry to say that it is part of learning, if anyone tells you to put stuff on your fingers, dont listen, you need to develop those callouses and the only way to develop em is playing through that pain, i used to take a break when mine hurt, and i remember how sore they were, but it will go away soon, just try to keep goin the best you can
