  • nickelback are posers.talentless clows.maiden and priest have the magic.

  • STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR BREAKER, BREAKER!

  • I saw them live in 1986 and I couldn't hear a thing for 5 days. All due to Rob. One of the most amazing concerts I've ever seen, even to this date. Seeing them again on Nov 20th!

  • i wish i had a shirt of that album cover. that would b sick!

  • 2 assholes pressed the wrong button. I guess they can go back to sucking off Bieber

  • @fuckjustinbieber66 please for the love of god dont mention its name

  • I love those solos even if its just 10 seconds.

  • 4:16 best drum solo

  • Saw Priest and Whitesnake live yesterday! They were kicking asses! And now I know which show was the best show of my life! This song was fucking awesome!

  • @salottin I remember seeing Priest with Whitesnake back in '09 on the British Steel. Amazing show, even made eye contact with the Metal God haha. Can't wait to see em as third time, this will be an epic show

  • Saw Priest live last week, they played this song and it was unbelievable! And by the way, Richie Faulkner was awesome, he nailed every song they played perfectly.

  • thumbs up if you are goin' to see this LIVE on EPITAPH !

  • @marclee15 already did

  • @marclee15 saw them fucking amazing

  • JUDAS PRIEST IS THE BEST FUCKING BAND EVER. FUCKING HEAVY METAL. FUCKING BADASS. MY EARS COME WHEN I LISTEN TO THIS SHIT!!!! \m/

  • I can see why they didn't include this one on the original..........pretty lame compared to all the rest.

  • @jlgrey nothing with Rob Halford is lame.

  • @TheCozybear65 Agreed! Maybe lame was the wrong word.......I'm a huge fan of Robs work over the years.

  • @jlgrey maybe a tad "flat" ?

  • @jlgrey, I wouldn't call it lame. It's just that this song doesn't go well with the rest of the songs from the original "Unleashed in The East" album. Around 2:10 the song doesn't sound that good but then it picks up the tempo and it finishes very strong. I guess that for those of us who owned (or listened to) this album from way back in 1979 need to hear the song a few times in order to get into it.

  • I had the original "Unleashed in the East" and this song was NOT on it. Bought the CD later in life, and this song is NOT on it...

Maybe because it's not that great, unlike the rest of the album which kicks some serious ars, and is probably the best live album ever, in my opinion...

  • @ScottyWheels Not that great? Come on man! The song is tight, great guitar solo, great drum solo and rob doing his thing with the high pitched breaker etc. Damn man damn. I think it's a brilliant performance of a brilliant song :D

  • This is either the japanese version or the 2001 remaster bonus track, because this song wouldnt have been on any other if i remember correctly.

  • This is cool. My version of Unleashed in the East doesn't include this song.

  • @garnerean was a bonus 12 inch, Delivering the goods, Hell bent and Rock Forever if I'm not mistaken.

  • I had this album as a kid on vinyl when it first came out but I don't remember Starbreaker bein on it.

  • JP "STARBREAKER UNLEASHED IN THE EAST"

  • A Glenn and K.K fusion of are splendid!

  • This was a bonus track recorded from the same two nights....just unreleased. Its was released on the remasters. In fact look at all the early remasters of the early albums...all of them have these bonus tracks.

  • I love this album, best Judas Priest album in my opinion. However, I don't remember this song being on the album I had.

  • Starbreaker was on the original LP? Don't think so.

  • @kbarwell Was on the import along with Rock Forever, Delivering the Goods and Hell bent for Leather I think.

  • Who the hell is setting the tempo, Ritchie Blackmore? He's also famous for picking it up live, compared to the studio version. Still great.

  • Got this silkscreen wall-hanging at a county fair in 81.

  • El mejor heavy de todos los tiempos, sin duda...

  • He comes but once a life time...never seen again.

  • Judas Priest does amazing music in the studio. Then better music live. How the fuck does that work?

  • @BNPisFTW THATS THE MAGIC OF METAL!!!!!!!!

  • @BNPisFTW METAL, "B", METAL!!!!!

  • starbreaker refers to halford breaking the "brown starfish" Kick ass song from a kick ass album from a kick ass band. Just had to get the gay joke in

  • SHOULD BE UNDER THE GREATEST 5 LIVE ALBUMS EVER PRODUCED!!

IT'S A SHAME HOW THE WORLD (OVERALL) DOESN'T GIVE A KEEN EAR TO METAL MUSIC. THEY'D REALIZE HOW MUCH FREAKIN TALENT THERE IS FROM METAL!!

  • @hyperloke but then, would you like that poserfaggots would be listening to this music that is only ment for the children of heavy metal?

  • quest'album è la prova dell'abilità indiscussa di Rob

  • Sorry, if this sounds weird. But, because of Rob Halford (My Favorite Singer), I can admit to the world that I am a bisexual person. I thank him, because he is gay and it took a lot of guts for him to admit that. And the same thing for me. Also, great video.

  • @TheCannibalViking666 dude us real lifer metalfreaks dont care about that at all ---live and let live --metal is for the elite ---you belong no matter your sexual preference ---ftw!!!!!!

  • @nomadplanet2010 Thank you.

  • @TheCannibalViking666 anytime brother ---yell at me sometime if you want

  • @nomadplanet2010 Wait, what do you mean? I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm actually glad you told me that.

  • this album, imagine that an actual album, was my intro to the priest all so many years ago...god those where the days!!! n this was the "fist pounding" music that flamed my heels

  • this song is NOT on my Unleashed CD???

  • @useemusic1 - You have an earlier pressing of the album then. The new 'remaster series' cd version has this song as well as others such as Rock Forever, Hell Bent Forever and Delivering The Goods which were only originally on the japanese pressing. The new remaster pressing as I've said contains these songs.

  • I just love this live album...Its excellent...Rob has prettiest heavy metal voice...And I want his jacket badly...

  • Hey, Priest fans! This is out now on vinyl again! 180 gram deluxe gate fold sleeve!

back on black records...youtube won't let me post the outside link...

also out now: Hell bent for leather, stained class and sin after sin!

  • are they gay? oh men...

  • First time hearing this and I was a JP fan from late 70's! Thanks for the post, JP smokes with KK and Glen as usual and Halford raising the roof with his vocals. I saw them twice (Point of Entry and Screaming for Vengeance tours) in cocert. Once Iron Maiden opened for them but JP spanked their balls off! THIS IS 100% GRADE A HEAVY METAL!

  • Thanks for the response,headbanger6661990,I purchased this albulm in 1980...and I'd like to think that Starbreaker may have featured elsewhere, in Europe maybe?... in Thunder Bay,Ontario it was edited!... yep I'm an old fan!

  • A true masterpiece.

  • the japan edition of this album has a 7"ep with it, that has this and 2 other trax on it, the mix is also alot rawer on this adition too, killer

  • This album is a heavy metal primer for kids today. Keep 'em from a fate worse than death-Nickelback.

  • I find it embarrassing that one of Canada's best post grunge bands turned into another emo pop faggotry.

  • Don't worry, this happens to be my favorite Judas Priest song ;D.

  • I love this song...but i dont recall this being in this albulm? I...purchased this in 1980?...no matter...great song!!!!

  • your right i have the vinyl right before me and starbreaker is missing maybe a bonus track on cd ?

  • They didn't touch up the original release of Unleashed in the East, did they? The copy I have from many years ago doesn't seem to have any studio tendencies to it. It is pure live Priest!

  • It should be noted that the rumors of Judas Priest touching up Unleashed In the East (at least to any really noticeable extent) is mere speculation that isn't backed up by any facts.

  • Les Binks in my favourite JP drummer and I've always wished he hadn't been replaced by Dave (Congo) Holland!

  • I agree 100%.why did they get rid of him.I heard he had a drinking problem

  • (This is my 2nd attempt to make a reply, not sure why my 1st didn't work?)

I read somewhere that the band felt Binks was too technical and wanted him to play a more simpler drumming style for the 1980s and he refused to be dumbed-down so they let him go.

  • This album may have been "enhanced" in the studio, but Priest is still beyond amazing live, even today!

  • drum solo

  • the best band ever! amazing song!

  • star breaker scream before the drum solo was just pure badass

  • Even it was obviously done in the studio. It still kicked ass.

  • I was very disappointed to find out they touched up this live album up in the studio. Kiss did the same thing. Not very metal of them. Still though, I listen to this LP constantly. Oh, and on a side not, I was sitting at a red light, and this beautiful blond, who looked prim and proper, pulled up next to me in a Benz convertible. She was alone and absolutely blasting Victim of Changes off this record on her car stereo. My jaw dropped into my lap. 20 years later, I still remember this goddess.

  • Obviously a woman of taste and discernment!

  • Damn I remember playing this on cassette in my car going to H.S. almost got a speeding ticket trying to keep up with this song on of the best Lp

  • Awesome drum solo from Les Binks there! He will always be one of my favorite drummers, I wish he woulduve stayed instead of Dave Holland replacing him, I also wish Priest woulduve continued making albums like "Sin After Sin" and "Stained Class" rather then pursuing a more basic sound in the 80's.

  • Well that's actually exactly why Les Binks left in the first place. The sound just grew too "commercial" for him, even with "Killing Machine"/"Hell Bent". Now, though, they've got Scott Travis and he's just amazing. The problem is that they don't use him properly; his drumming on "Painkiller" and "Jugulator" was incredible but since then they might as well have used a drum machine.

  • This song FUCKIN ROCKS!

  • MICIDIALE!!!

    JUDAS PRIEST

  • i should have figured that,my bad.i knew it,i try to get imports all the time if i can.got a ac/dc album not sure the name but it's an import and has a extra song"crabsody blues"i think is the song name.you're right nothing like the vinyl.thanks

  • i dont believe that it was on this album.listened to it for years and i dont remember hearing it on there.what is this a bonus track or something?it's just not on my album and it's original, bought by me so?

  • Import version with Delivering the Goods and beyond the Realms of Death, still play it to this day, NOTHING sounds like good old metal on vinyl!

  • Yeah, there are 4 bonus tracks on the live Unleashed in the east remasters series album.

  • Oh how I wish this song was on Rock Band or Guitar Hero... my neighbors would hate me wailing this at the top of my lungs! Hehe...

  • star breaker!!

  • cross your fingers, here he is

    take us now this day

  • i can´t find the fucking solo tab!!!!!! :P

if anyone has it, please send it to me ;)

  • np problem. I will allways love judas priest

  • one of my all time favorites by the mighty judas priest horns up high /,,/ /,,/ thanks 4 uploading

  • glides in - not rising

    hehe

    great!

  • I thought it was "rising" for about 30 years, till I looked up the lyrics on the internet!

  • staaaaaaaaaar BREAKER!

    rising from the skyyyyyyy

    pure love!

  • this isn't live though...... parts of it are, but priest muddled around with this in the studio

  • halfords voice in prime!

  • sounds like Rob's voice had a bit of help in places!

  • right, he could nail this song very well then, but he usually fucked some places. For example the "growing" scream near the end. He have always had a "hole" in the mid-high register and in the real bootlegs you can hear that he made this scream grow very irregularly(which was corrected in UitE).

  • Hey you cant nipick Halford, he sings shit that people of any age would never or could never attempt.

  • @worcesterwombat yeah, i think its a customised octivider..wish i had one too! No taking away from the guy, you have to know what you are doing with it.

  • Mola ^^ muchisimo mas que la de estudio

  • Hell yea

  • this is the best album of all time. priest is a flawless band and here they are at the height of their powers. nothing is beter.

  • Has my vote as one of the greatest live albums. Always loved the 'kick you in the head' live sound! Metal magic. Can't be beat.
