  • The rails are made from plastic , it's not that hard

  • OMG! THe horse was thats stronge to break...that thing...Lol

    Its just amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • That is the best thing I have have ever seen. Those horses go through so much in the first couple of years of their lives, and most of them end up frustrated and scarred. I had an accident with a retired racehorse, and I did not know about his history until a couple of years later. When it comes to horses, I am against horse races and rodeo. Horses have souls that need to be free. Their spirits are constantly looking for ways out. People shouldn't torture animals

  • @svenini17 Races horses are completely different to wild horses or ponies if you think its cruel and they should be free because of its 'soul' why the fuck do you ride them? or you gonna tell us the accident was a kick lol? Hypocrites like you should actually think before writing or spouting shit.

  • @MrConnolly25 Let me tell you something. I have to walk around with a scar on my face because of what other people did to that horse. The hypocrite you mentioned are those idiots that pull reins to tight, and beat them with whips and kick them with those stupid spikes.

  • @svenini17 you still ride them and get pleasure from doing so,so you yourself are contradicting your own statement.Racehorses are bred to race they will race around with or without a jockey and whilst you condem racing and rodeo you fail to mention eventing or dressage horses WHY?if you are not skilled enough to be around a former racehorse you would'nt be the 1st or the last how do you know you did'nt spook or unsettle the horse.its unfortunate to be hurt by an animal but it happens

  • @MrConnolly25 I was 12. It's harder to handle a big horse at that age, especially one that will sprint of at any moment. And i don't ride horses anymore. I have ridden them in almost 10 years. I don't feel the need either, because most of the horses here aren't well, and they all look beat. I hate seeing horses look like crap, and malnurished and ungroomed. And we have a lot of that where I come from

  • @svenini17 Well there you go then clearly racehorses are very different to your ordinary horse you clearly should have not been near it as a 12yr old maybe if you looked closer to home ie your parents and asked why they allowed you with such inexperience to be near a former racehorse.Trainers,Jockeys are not the people you should point fingers at,many people try to create a 'horse haven' and fail as they either cant actually afford it or lack actual skills required to look after horses

  • @MrConnolly25 Yes, and I agree with you, but the ranch where i used to ride would assign each child to a horse, and I was assigned to ride that one. I find that they shouldn't have even bought that horse, knowing that children would ride it. I understand what you are saying about the horse haven. I just find that people should treat their horses nicer, and like you said, they fail or lack the skills

  • It almost looks like he sustained a stifle or other type of leg injury. His gait ( or way that he is moving) looks to be off.

  • he jsut wanted to go swimming!! Beautiful Horse:)

  • Horses Statement- A FUK!

  • This is soo dang funny! I love the water effect! lol

  • @YouShowGirl u wouldnt be saying that if he had died......... would you.......

  • @jamesclarke1994 your stupid. Lets put a blind fold on you - your hands would be tied because horses cant take their blind fold off- spin you around and just randomly shock you then throw you in a lake

  • omg

  • wwweee yaaayyyy that looks like fun

  • Poor horse although that horse is like "aahhh (running) I can't see (break fence) I can't freakin see!! (Lands in water) I can't see and now I'm wet, fml"

  • blue warrior wasnt fine though his stifle joint was out of place and now after a year he is only just starting to come back into work as my friend bought him and now looks after him however he is a lovely horse

  • I hate to tell all you people but not all race horses get put down if they are not winning. there are alot of great adoption groups out there that take in race horses that just didn't make it on the track and there owners/trainer dont know what to do with them. Such as my horse who I adopted a yr ago from the great people as MMSC! yes sadly some do get sold to slaughter or starved. But you can't just say that about all of them and there are great people trying to help chang that!

  • First time a horse jumped into the lake before any of us had a chance to bet on him.

  • LOL....racehorses...you gotta love them.

  • English horses seem a lot tougher than American horses. Here in America, when a horse goes down it normally has broken something, when something goes wrong in England, the horse normally seems fine.

  • i dont know about that. ive witnessed a lot never get up once fallen. how this horse survived being bindfolded, crashing into a fence and falling in a river i'll never know.

    emaieoghanahally i agree with you

  • I`ve seen a lot of UK horses not get up, but I`ve also seen a lot that were fine. Most US horses I see go down normally have broken bones and seriouse injuries.

UK or US horse, this horse is lucky to be alive either way

  • @Beatlegirl4eva I think English horses are started later than Amercian horses though, aren't they? Haven't looked it up lately, but I remember reading something about how america starts breaking& running horses younger than anywhere else, which likely plays a significant role in their durability. 2 year old bones are not even close to being fully developed and quite weak/brittle.

  • @anoukah

I know they`re started to carry a saddle as yearlings, and race at 2. I thought other countries did that as well. But Ya, I agree. Eve if an injury doesn`t occur as a 2 year old, it could lead to damage and an injury at 3 or older. Racing at 2 isn`t exactly the best thing.

  • @Beatlegirl4eva yea kinda my horse is so tough when he aint flexin u can still see his muscles and vains popin out :]

  • @Beatlegirl4eva yea kinda my horse is so tough when he aint flexin u can still see his muscles and vains popin out :] [hes a qourter horse]

  • @shanabethbee

    Cool, Quater Horses rock. :)

  • @Beatlegirl4eva yea :D

  • @Beatlegirl4eva I bet american horses wear helmets and shoulder pads too

  • @Beatlegirl4eva That will be because American horses are given drugs (steroid type) over here thats not allowed apart from extreme cases.

  • this is what gives racing a bad name, which is such a shame because it is the sport of kings! But badly executed here! Just shows a serious lack of ground training in a desperate bid to get the money. How suffers - the poor horse every time

  • Because they don't get the fucking meal. Can you not read!? The meat doesn't go to them, it goes to China & France. Others just get shot & left and the others that egt put down cannot go for meat!

  • 1 don't call them that, idiot. Harsh words and lies. Horses that don't make it to the track get shot in the head and then taken away, only half for meat purposes. The others get sent to slaughter or put down by vets, the one that are put down cannot go for meat. So how can '99%' go for meat? Alot get put down now a days, anyway. The one's that are killed in slaughter houses, go to France or China, none to Africa. One's that are shot might..

  • Blindfolded or not, racing is a stupid sport. The horse isn't even fully developed and is way to young to start riding again. Every year 10,000 foals are born, only 100 make it to training, and only 1 in 10 to the tracks. Where do the others go? You'd like to thin k rescue homes, but others are shot.. Racing iself is cruel. blindfolding them is just a small part. x

  • @emaieoghanahally .where do u get ur figures from .richard hannon alone trains 100 2 yr olds every year.

  • I got it from a member of the Newmarket race tracks that has also worked in greater horse-racing held events :) I also got it from the vet I share my field with. (:

  • @emaieoghanahally your a retard its a buisness horses that dont make the grade are usually sold. In my area the Amish take them in and use them for a buggy. You try to make a point that they are all killed you are mistaken or a liar, money is money and in a buisness money is everything. Its hard to make money off a dead animal. Again RETARD.

  • @dannydiff1 I thank you for your response from the bottom of my heart :) These RETARDS shouldn't be watching these videos if they hate racing so much

  • First recorded instance of a horse taking a dive in a prize-fight match.

  • No trouble at all... Keep giving ur animals plenty of love & attention & they will never b scared..

  • That's not neccerscarily true :-) But agree with giving them lots of love :-D

  • Many ways to calm a horse down or any animal... Blindfolding them is not the way. The only reason that horse was scared it was because he was blinfolded. Could you imagine how you would feel... very very scared...

  • oh ok next time i see my friend i'll tell him he is wrong sorry for the trouble

  • one way i have heard of calming a horse down was to gather some flakes from the chestnut on the inside of the leg and form a powder from it and let the horse sniff the powder

  • @BeachMist13

no.. you read that in the heartland books..

  • We r talking about a horse that could have been killed or killed someone. "WHY" because he was blindfolded . All im saying is no horse should b blindfolded "EVER"..... Good luck with ur animals.

  • it confuses me now you say they shouldn't be blind folded but my friend says if it calms them down and ppl do that with alot of animals

  • think up of a better way to get the horse to go into the stalls so. its only a horse.. thousands of cows are killer evry day for beef but nobody cares bout dem and yet you care about blindfolding a horse. do u live in the real world at all??

  • They shouldn"t b blindfolded if they need to b then they need more EDUCATION. That was shameful horsemanship...Glad the horse is ok.

  • it wasn't the persons fault the horse just got scared or something and they know what there doing i think you don't know even the slightest thing about race horses your just trying to be smart!

  • I"ve had race horses for 57 years .. Any idiot will tell u if the horse needed to b blindfolded then it wasn"t ready & needed more education .. Just like u do...

  • what ever

  • Hey anus DOES the Truth Hurt,, "Whatever"...... That just proves it... learn the truth before u make such stupid comments....I certainly hope u have no animals..

  • actually i have 4 dogs 1 cat 4 kittens a mouse and a ferret and a hamster and i do take care of all of them

  • The good news is Blue Warrior is still alive and had it's first race at Lingfield on Saturday night.

The bad news is it finished about 30 lengths behind the second last Horse and I don't think it would have a hope of placing in a low grade race if it ran 100 times.

The Horse did look very green and I suppose it's possible it could improve with a few runs but I hope the owners retire the poor old thing to a nice farm if it shows a similar amount of ability in it's next few races.

  • WOW

    That was scary to watch.

Glad all was okay in the end.

  • jaysus, i wouldnt back him!

    PS

I think heidi was trying to be funny

  • kudos on escaping, but why wouldnt he jump over the fence instead of plowing into the damned thing? stupid horse

  • he was blind folded he couldn't see the railing and plus if he wasn't blind folded he would have just kept running on the track.

  • Another lucky escape - very very lucky

  • is he okay??

  • Is this Horse ever going to run. I didn't think it suffered any serious injury that night yet it hasn't been seen at a racecourse since.

  • they probably killed the poor thing.

  • It has probably been sold off to play water polo. Seriously though, "Trainer John Best is satisfied Blue Warrior suffered no lasting effects" - but to date he has not run again.

  • they wouldent have killed it you fkin idiot. there are laws in england preventing stuff like that. and dont come back waving the THEY KILL FAILED HORSES flag cause yes. they do. but not in england.

  • they kill failed horses you fuck knob! do you live in the real world or the little peanut in your head? if they keep this horse it would cost them too much money especially if it hasn't ran since. the easiest solution to them is to get money for it - they're about making money, not spending it you fuckwit cunt

  • wow some imagenative insults in there. well done *golf clap* im actualy in the horse racing industry and i can asure you there are rules against it. if a horse breaks it leg and its beyond repair for the rest of its life. for its own good it will get put down just like if yuo take an old dog into a vet. but if there is a possibility that leg can be healed without causing too much trauma to the animal in the long run, everything is done to try save it and help it recover.

  • Oh dear...

  • I heard about this a couple of days ago from a friend. Always knew something like that would happen in that dangerous lake beside the rails. Lucky escape!
