@ ducevenom . . . . With all due respect, your comment makes no sense. Because if that was the case, a secular artist couldn't make a Christian track "dirty" by rapping/singing over it. Lil Wayne rapping some crap over a church organ does not clean up his message, if he's talking about hoes and drugs. The question is . . would God be pleased with this, not the church.
@finisher3x This man has probably led thousands upon thousands to Jesus Christ by rapping Christian songs . What has been your impact in the kingdom. Everyone is on a different mission from God. Let's not throw away people here now remember what Paul said we battle not with flesh and blood but against principalities, darkness, and rulers over this world. Excuse for not be specifically Biblically correct, but you know the scripture. So yeah Rick Ross is in the back ground but we battle not
Respond to this video... against Rick Ross but the evil spirit that is winning him away from God right now. Who knows maybe Rick Ross will be inspired to change for God because of this song or being welcomed to bless the track of a Christian Artist . Or may be a little kid who only knows the street and hears this song and says to him self "Rick Ross" is on a Christian song" , " Hey maybe church is cool" . Remember Paul persecuted the Christians before he was one. So is God wrong for
Respond to this video... excepting Paul. Then how is ' The Street Pastor' wrong for excepting Rick Ross. Don't be in the constant company of people who do wrong but is your duty to give them an hour of your time or a few minutes or or even a day or even a few seconds if you don't how will that person even have chance to even choose between God and the life he or she is living. Even Jesus took time to talk to the Pharisees, which ridiculed Jesus for his beliefs , but he talked to them.
Christ is probably bobbing his head to this, thinking . . ."Well done my faithful servant. Way to flip that poisionous Rick Ross track, and use it to glorify God." Nit-picking Christians need to step back sometimes. The nit-picking is exactly what the Devil wants you to do, to take away from the true intention of the act.
"Secular beat"? Please. We're living in a day and time in which kids need to be reached by dang near "any means necessary". I seriously doubt that the Lord is going to look at what this brotha did, and be unhappy.
I Feel you Yaves......But I think its important as a Gospel Artist to stay away from secular beats(Made in World) A hot beat doesn't mean its secular.....Just making a suggestion as a brother in Christ..... Stay Blessed and Encouraged....I'm Always praying for you and your ministry....Amen.....
@TheBadhabit9 : Defiantly .The intention of a Secular Beat is to promote the World ( Lust of Eye, Lust of the Flesh, Pride Of Life)..A producer making a nice beat with a heart after God.....The Beat is Hot...but his Intention was to make a beat to glorify God..God has his own rappers and producers that make music that glorify God and as Christian artist we should use "Beats" and "Rappers" Of God so he can always get the GLORY...Amen Trip Lee, Sho baraka, Tedashi, Thi'sl , Json...Do a great Job
@kemile305 Psalm 150:6 said "let ALL that has breath praise the Lord. how can a beat be secular just cuz a secular perosn made it ? secular ppl work at mcdonalds and have made ur food before does that mean ur food is secular ? he can use whatever beat he wants it really doesnt make a difference , hot song Yaves .
