  • Most fucked up orphanage or what.

  • honestly I don't like Takano but I do feel sorry for her....she had the worst past out of all of them....I wouldn't want her around me or in the village but I would like for her to have a 2nd chance make a happy life for herself someware...

  • OMG I love it ♥

  • We all know Takano acted like a bitch, but it's because she had to live with something that somebody should never had experienced. I hate Takano, but I feel so much pity for her, as everyone she loved dearly died and she vowed revenge on Hinamizawa. Please understand that. :')

  • ...I finally was able to understand y Takano was who she was..she was never treated right..all she wanted to do was live life..but I luv this song..it shows how Takano has always felt..

  • I support RenaxTakano!!!! <3<3<3

  • @Kitsu289 okay, but why it hasn't shown? (Hanyuu's death.) And why Takano is there, I thought she would be in mental hospital or something. :D After trying to kill everyone.

  • Sorry but I really don't understand that Hanyuu is again in her ghost form in Higurashi Rei and Takano is there... o____o' Sorry I just can't figure it out! So Hanyuu died again or something? Oh please somebody explain.

  • @Rbeccan she got shot by tanako.

  • @Rbeccan I think owo

  • @Rbeccan That was a complete seperate arc, had nothing to do with the story or the 'normal' timeline.

  • This picture and song just tears me apart.

  • She just want people to say "It's okay to live as an individual"! Say it to appreciate Droopy-tan!

  • the beginning sounds so much like lilium

  • Satetsu-"Setback"

There is so much hate on Takano. She's personally is one of my favorites;she's one of few villans that have a good reason for there evil...

She just wanted somone to tell her "It's okay to live."

  • :,( i cried on the last episode, i agree with you all! it was such a sad anime, & such a great plot! i would watch this over anything being shown on the tv today! ^^

  • Oh poor takano U_U

  • I hate it when so many Higurashi fans (as in, people who have only watched the anime once and skipped a bunch of episodes) flame Takano endlessly, and don't realize she is one of the most tortured characters. =/ It makes me kinda sick when I'm re-watching the last episode and I look down at the comments and they're all like, "HAHA DA BITCH GOT WAT SHE DESRVED." Takano was someone who just wanted to live a life too, you know.

  • @Pingypong101 I agree with that, and I kind of feel bad for her, but at the same time she did knowingly cause the death of a couple thousand people in every arc, so I think that's why a lot of fans really have trouble seeing her human side. It's what I love about Higurashi.. Everyone was portrayed as very human and likable... Well... Almost everyone. I have no comment on Teppai. -.-;

  • @Pingypong101 she had an appauling life, I felt sorry for her and Satoko. It makes me feel sick to watch the bullying scene again and see people saying 'she was annoying she deserved it.' But she didn't she was suffering from the worst type of hinamizawa syndrome and her parents died she is abused by her uncle not to mention her brother went and she blamed herself for it. She is only just a child but she was very strong and depended on herself. But nobody sees that

  • This track reminds to "Agora" OST

  • I think takano wanted to become a god to right the world just like kira/light that went wrong

  • I dont care how screwed up she was, you cant help but to feel sorry for the girl. This song is sooooo beautiful, but fills me with so much sorrow v.v

  • hey is the girl takono!? cuz her hair..........

  • *Sigh* A never-ending June in Hinamizawa. A life of pure joy and insanity, but it's all for the pursuit of happiness. It repeats it self, untl the 'perfect' or right world is made. :)

  • I wish I could live in June forever it'd be summer and no school for me in June I would love to live in June forever.

  • You do realise that you'd die over and over again that June right?

  • I didnt say that I would die I just said I would like to live in June forever cuz its summer and no school.

  • Yeah got that. I was kind of joking...

  • I know Takano had a tough childhood.

But c'mon, that seriously doesn't give her the reason to do what she did!!

She was far from being human.

She was in hell and she was in pain, then why the hell would she cause other people pain!!?

  • I think that from the very moment she saw her "grandfather" get shut down like that and heard him cry, she had total hatred for the world and everything in it. She wanted to cause others the pain that she thought they caused her. I don't hate or like Takano, I actually feel bad for her... regardless of the fact she won in every (SPOILER ALERT!) other world except one, think of the outcome... There was that girl who she had met, who had betrayed her. I think that even if she did win against Rika,

  • Stupid character limit... even if she did win against Rika, she would have been killed or shut down by TOKYO. Therefore, Takano's life would have just been a collection of bad events. From her parents death, getting put into that torture with that child abuser, watching her "grandfather" fail, becoming desperate, hiding things from people she loved, and then getting killed by a bigger company. It's pretty sad.

  • a sad song... very pretty :'D

  • :,( it was sooo sad in the last episode where okonogi tell takano the truth about TOKYO. it's a pity that so many higurashi-fans don't see the tragedy of takano and her messed up character because of her terrible childhood. it really made me cry in the last episode :( it was so moving, maybe that's the reason why i love this song so much :)

  • I totally agree with you and absolutely LOVE Tomitake for helping her in the last episode. That part made me cry sooo much.

  • @MoonFox35 I was crying too but happy because Tomitake's true love would surely help her

  • ^_^ i didnt like her at first......but, after u saw her tradegy and all that stuff..u felt bad for her.T_T

  • @NipaahNeko Was Tokyo just playing with her? I totally forgot what it was about since I haven't watched it like.... in months... @_@

  • @HanakoFujita uhhh havent watched it in months as well lol but i jus think that they jus used her for something...not sure what though... @_@ xD

  • @HanakoFujita I believe that the leader of Tokyo who she put so much trust in didn't actually give a damn about her research

  • @KuroYuki100 It's hard to trust people these days..

  • @HanakoFujita that's true

  • @KuroYuki100 Nomura definitely didn't care about her research, she was trying to justify the usage of the syndrome as a bioweapon to her superiors and was using Takano as means to that end, and a scapegoat if it failed.

Tokyo played her like a one-string fiddle

  • @RavenholmeCP42 Poor Takano I'm not really suprised she went mad

  • @KuroYuki100 As a biology student, I can completely understand why the poor woman went mad, it'd suck to have your life's work treated like dirt and trampled beneath the feet of those who were simply humouring you so that they could twist the end result to their means, and to throw you to the wolves if things went sour.

That and her childhood, completely understandable that she is the way she is. She's one of the more tragic characters in Higurashi, if utterly despicable at the same time

  • @RavenholmeCP42 Yeah her childhood was appauling it was just one thing after another I felt really bad for hating her in the first series because she did freak me out slightly but I understand now

  • @KuroYuki100 Yeah, Higurashi actually has a quite a few disturbing subtexts and hinted abuses in the pasts of the characters, with those of Takano and Satoko/Satoshi being the most obvious ones (What with Satoko's being the focus of two/three arcs).

Still, it's my favourite anime series for these reasons, amongst others.

  • @NipaahNeko She still killed them all like 100 fucking times. T_T

  • @XxladieGaGaFanxX Actually, each time it was a different Takano. Each arc took place in a new world, so technically it was a new Takano that killed them.

Don't get me wrong, she's still a bitch. But one Takano destroyed one Hinamizawa per world, not one Takano destroyed all the Hinamizawas in every world.

  • this is really sad and pretty. I guess thats takano?
