I love MumS, I love Beatles even more, but I just can't handle that version. Boys, please, don't do that again. Sing your own songs. Pretty please with a cherry on top.
Ha he still has British citizenship and and a proper English accent he is ours and we are very proud of these four guys.. America has plenty of talented bands already Like Eels or William fitzsimmons
im very sorry if i offended anybody in saying that all the best bands are british. they have british accents, thats why i say theyre british. no he isnt australian. yes i love the avett bros. i do give america credit for a very large number of incredible artists. i just didnt want to write a reply to every single person who responded to my comment, please excuse my laziness.
all the best bands are british because americans are afraid to show real feelings. on that note, that is y the british are real men... and i have met quite a few from britan, ireland, and scottland n my line of work and american men are mostly (I SAID MOSTLY) DOGS.
@Kindel87 This is my favorite kind of cover; true to the original, but unique.
If you love The Beatles and Abbey Road, you should check out McLemore Ave by Booker T. It's an Abbey Road tribute and the best cover album ever. He did it in 1971, and all of The Beatles had it in their own record collections. McCartney even used parts of Booker T's cover of The End in his pre-show music during his 2010 tour.
Let's have more Mumford & Sons Beatles covers please! "I've Just Seen A Face"
Wow... sadly the first Mumford cover that I don't really care for... Would I still freak out if I heard it live? Yeah. But here I like the original better. Nice joy at the end, though. Ah Winnie :)
Oh really? What do the British have that Americans don't? Led Zeppelin? The Beatles? Mumford & Sons? Laura Marling? Iron Maiden? Muse? Radiohead? The Rolling Stones? Queen?
The Americans have... Okay you got me...
Actually no wait...
Americans have Elvis, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Frank Zappa, Hendrix, Metallica, Nirvana, The Eagles, Pearl Jam, Allmen Brothers, The Doors, Beach Boys... Would you like me to go on?
We can argue all you want but generalizing and saying that Americans just don't cut it is simply ignorant. Music is a universal language and should be treated as such. There are influences on both sides of the Atlantic... I love the British bands that I mentioned as much as I love the American bands... Americans have as many top selling albums as British artists, so what are you trying to prove?
@midgeythegreat as an american a compleatly agree with that, the beatles british, the who british neil young canadian who do americans have hannah montanna
@LTHSFanpire Nice Cherry picking there, we could flip that and say the British - Spice Girls, The Canadians - Justin Blubber or beeber or whatever that kids name is and the USA - Elvis, Buddy Holly, Greenday, Stevie Ray Vaughn... anyone can play the cherry picking name game. Just enjoy all good music, where ever its from and don't generalize.
@Cynthorrpg1 i'll give you that i guss im just a little fed up with the current music and as someone who works with kids a bit disappointed at the music they listen to usa has had its great musicians
@midgeythegreat - Mumford and Sons is a great band, no arguments. However, they owe a lot of their fame to an AMERICAN band, The Avett Brothers, that paved the way for them. If you haven't heard The Avett Brothers, you should check them out, they are amazing and have been doing this style of music for twice as long as M&S. Oh, and there is that one guy Elvis that is the reason the Beatles were able to get off the ground at all. The point is, Americans make great music as do the Brits.
can you put the lyrics in description !? nobody has it :(
