  • You have very good tutorials on this rifle but i have one question.

    What is the "button"-like thing sticking out to the right next to the charging handle?

  • That is a forward assist, in case the bolt doesn't lock into battery. In such a situation, one would push on the forward assist, engaging a rod which fits into a series of grooves along the bolt, helping to push it into battery.
