It is amazing how much feeling and emotion that Cetera put in his singing and bass guitar work. The guy is simply amazing and the best at what he does.
Chris Pinnick was the second best guitarist after Terry Kath (Donnie Dacus sucked, Dawayne Bailey was too much like a 80s metal goon and the new guy I can't really judge him). Why he wasn't added as a full member baffles me. Bill Champlin filled in the missing voice of Kath as of Chicago 16 whilst Pinnick's guitar playing kicked ass. I do know some tracks on Chicago 16 had Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar on some tracks. I think that Pinnick played Lukather's parts much better.
@brilliantos I wish that Lee would have continued his harmony vocals after Peter left. They were a very important element with Peter's lead vocals. Since guitarist and harmony singer Dewayne Bailey joined in 1986, Lee's harmony vocals became obselete.
BOY DO THEY MISS PETER DANNY AND TERRY !! BAD !

Peter seems a little flat and off key on some of the lyrics, still great though

Cetera ruled! Howland can't come close to matching him on vocals.

@giantfan63 Why would he? Howland isn't a lead singer.

The time of a reunion concert with Petera Cetera is here. The missing piece of the puzzle would return.

Cetera is the best ! He is a living legend. What a blow to Chicago to lose him, Kath and Serraphine.
