  • To me these people are just making excuses to profit from terrible music that degrades our people. It may not have started with hip-hop, but hip hop is making it so that our degradation continues and continues. Why do that? Each generation should try to be better than the previous generations. Hip Hop is not allowing for that to happen. Furthermore, I think that hip hop is making it very difficult for black men and women to respect one another. Stop it with the excuses already!!!

  • my dad came from illinois

  • i cried when i heard this :')

  • Comment removed

  • free speech.

  • If Lupe Fiasco had the kind of profile he does now when this took place, he would have been the perfect rapper to testify for this. All of his messages are either positive or highlighting the ills of our culture.

  • the brother that told them to come to congress heights was RIGHT!

  • notice the 'slick' method of turning music conflicts into 'its all cuz im black' just shows those born out of ignorance will never overcome it.

  • Exactly, don't blame hip-hop the real uplifting touching music with a true meaningful message will not be played on the radio or on MTV. They want that shit garbage to be played so kids don't care about life, party away, so the future generation doesn't pay attention to what these shady-back door dealin-coke sniffing-prostitute murdering-lobbyist bought off-sell out the American People-Congressmen are doing. The Sell Out Rappers are wrong but Congress makes them look like children

  • @JGH8sDaDebunkerz dont blame the genre. blame the asshole who sells his music. the one who keeps writing about selling shit about killing people juss cuz they wear differnet colors, old school hip hop was the art, the new shit are the nails in the coffin, too many ignorant people being swept up in hip hop culture, alot of whites and blacks thinking they have to live up to the music

  • @ViolentEncounter If by "new shit" you are referring to new mainstream hip-hop, then I agree. There is, however, a very healthy underground filled with rappers who have real messages and real talent.

  • thanks liberal, post modern black professor, you're as ignorant as the white ones.

get over the childish blame games.

    integral theory will help.

  • I wonder who patted master p on the back and told him to by into McDonalds.

  • About time you got the sound together! This is something that BET should be jumping on and re-telecasting it 5-7 times, like they do their awards show!!!! Yes BET, I'm talking to YOU!!!!!!!! You've been very irresponsible about this for well over 11-12 years....Where is the Yin to your Yang?!?!

  • Running time 2:13, Uncle Tom Mr. Towns is amazed at the historical landscape ( true rendition of Amerikan history ) that his facial expression says it all... THAT is the look of bewilderment when the TRUTH smacks you in the face and convicts your heart... but I wonder, has this truth struck the hearts of those who manage the economic slavery? Or those who gain from the profits of keeping the people of the world in the dark? Or those who lend their talents to revise history? God is Just!

  • Master P belongs on the other side of the debate

  • 1st ammendment rights, no excuses needed... read it and weep bitches!!

  • @BigDaddyfication 1st amendment rights are restricted to angry white people who feel like they need to take their country back from somebody.

and yes i am being sarcastic.

  • Michael Eric Dyson killed it...

  • CAN U TAKE THESE NIGGS SEROIUSLY?

REALLY... LOOK AT ALL THE LITTLE NIG KIDS ACTING FAKE BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY WATCH THESE GUYS DO.

AND MASTER P DIDNT DO HIP HOP MUSIC HE FUCKIN SUCKS.. NIGGS JUST SUCK PEROID

  • Have you seen the video called Tyler the creator? OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!

  • @StayInMyCorner smh.. that's an artist not a video...and it does not matter what he says... his message is not literal violence he tells stories with his dark lyrics that come from his despair from growing up as a kid who grew up without a dad and as an outcast in school..doing take his lyrics literally

  • @gangstamind187 Yeah gangstamind187, I hear what you're saying, I just don't understand it. Jesse Jackson grew up without a father, Minister Farrakhan grew up without a father, Malcom X grew up without a father, Barak Obama grew up without a father, my sons grew up without their father, most of my male cousins grew up without their fathers, but they've all become the men their fathers weren't. The messages a child get while growing up, determines their future. The mind needs light not darkness.

  • @StayInMyCorner sadly that's the way he expresses himself... you should listen to Tyler The Creator's song "Inglorious" where he puts out his feelings literally for the most part and not behind a facade of dark images.

  • MR.TOWN is like oh my god this guy blows my fucking mind!

  • 8:34 did he just say he "comes to work every DRE day" hahahahaha

  • Dyson is intelligent, but severely misguided. And for someone who's such an authority in all of these matters, he sounds like he's defending something he knows isn't quite right. By the way, saying that "white people can't understand" and/or "shouldn't concern themselves with things that are not 'their' issues"...isn't that exactly the kind of thinking that racists use to justify their WRONG attitudes?

  • Ms. SHAKOWSKY......WOW..LOL WHY is she thier?

  • Love it when light skin niggers cry about white ppl.

  • @sinaguso1 DUDE WTF

  • @sinaguso1 Shut your goofy, racist ass up. Eric Dyson is more intelligent than your father, grandfather, etc.

  • Teach the truth.

  • if they made rap wrong I don't want to be right

  • "a paycheck is not an excuse" easy to say from your thousand dollar suit in your ivory tower.

  • rap music is horrible

  • I wish the young blacks who have no problem with the word Nigger or degrading women of their race grew up a little earlier in the deep south during 1950-1960 & earlier then they would understand the deep Hate, Pain and Degrading that went with that word. Maybe If they had seen the hate that hung black men from a tree just for being black..Check out the history of that word. So many men and women died or went through hell for your rights to be human, why do you keep wanting to go backards?

  • @Psalms11817 They have, but they aren't on the radio. Rap on the radio isn't hip hop---its hardly an art form--The problem is marking companies that only allow that content through because is more marketable than talking about legitimate problems and quality content. Look at an immortal technique or K-rino. This is crazy--Congress should be talking to the publishers not the artists

  • @Psalms11817 fact is that they were not born then, they are born now when deep hatred is replaced with deep ignorance, deep hatred is to complicated for people nowadays.

in todays society, words itself dont matter, its the context in which they are.

  • @Psalms11817 Thank You! We came so far. Why purposely go backwards?

  • Round One: Hip Hop = 1 Congress = 0

    -G

  • wow david banner is smart!

  • @loueyikpeba He went to college and actually graduated!!

  • The best part was Rep. Edward Markey saying, "what can you do in your music to bring out the positive.?" Mr. Banner never answered that question.

  • THE EXPRESSION ON MR TOWNS FACE IS PRICELESS.!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This barely english speaking man did NOT "school" the ivy league graduate PhDs that make up congress. Please.

  • "Black people are denied" WHAT! Lol I hate those types of blacks.

  • @ELoveSquadUp FUCK OFF

  • @ELoveSquadUp go fuck you mother

  • I hate when blacks now a days say they were brought here as slaves. They weren't. thier dads weren't, and some of them even thier grand dads weren't. I'm tierd of hearing blacks run thier mouths about slavery. I also dont like that when a white guy says nigger its racist, but when a black guy says nigger it ok. I dont hate blacks, i hate niggers.

  • @vestboy123 you dumb fucking cracker let me tell you something its not about if you were brought here as slaves today yesterday or 100 years before with many of blacks here in the usa only being at most 3 generations

removed from slavery , do you think everything is rosey where we come from infact in most cases your still seeing the after affects of it ( the fall out)

  • @vestboy123 "I don't hate blacks, I hate niggers"....Would you use the word "nigger" to describe a white person you hate? Of course you wouldn't. And that's the reason they say it's racist when a "white guy" says nigger. When rappers and other blacks say "nigga", it has nothing at all to do with someone's color. There's no hate behind the word like there is in YOUR comment. And the 13th Amendment says slavery is allowed if someone is convicted of a crime.

  • david banner needs to shut up and go catfish hunting

master p needs to shut up and go audition for dancing with the stars again

michael eriq dyson needs to shut the hell up and just make an album already cuzz he aint slick as he thinks he is... he loves rhyming.

mr rush needs to unleash his rage and go on a killing spree

  • congress win at 6:45

  • we were brung here

  • I love this. People really needed to hear this.

  • Dr Michael Eric Dyson is tight on the mic yo - He should think about being an Em Cee himself!

  • can some body cLL ME

  • Hiphop is universal

  • There is no black or white. there is human. anybody that still see a diffrents between black, white, chinese or else is a racist. and no matter what course word it is, you can never use it in a good or cool way...

Don't talk, act. don't sing, act. stop using course words or glorify the gettho. I saw master p or david banner's songs and vids. I just can say...wannebes gangsta. wanne change the kids. hip hop is the cause of trouble and problems...

  • Blacks using the word "nigga" is not the same as racist non-blacks using the word "nigger". Blacks do not mean evil against blacks by using "nigga". blacks turned it into something cool that even now non-blacks are using the word "nigga" because it sound cool! Stupid blacks need to get some sense and stop talking just like whites who can't stand the idea that blacks turned their evil word into something cool that even whites are using now.

  • @crazydaysful Bottom line just dont use the the N word is downgrading regardless!!!

  • Will Smith makes clean hip hop rap music and he's successfull. we don't need crap like hip hop rap music being offensive towards other people and there are enough bad rap music nobody needs... how many bad aggressive rap songs or out there being offensive towards other people for no reason and without a massage...do we need that ? there are enough wanne be gangstas glorifying that crap. if you wanne change something, change yourself...

  • yo p and benner im woeking on a beat for this spechh very clean....

  • BLACK HISTORY SKYSTHELIMITPRODUCTION COM

  • I understand what these MEN<<< say, but blame England-the source!

  • the answer is no

  • He said all art should not make you feel good, some art should get in your face. He is right on the money with that 1.

Case in point: Erykah Badu ~ Window Seat

  • i think they need all drugs to chill.. oO

  • I am speechless! We need more musicians, and men, like them!

  • i cant stand that shit.everything is black and white none of them faced slavery..and that dyson guy needs to take a breathe and stop waving his arms fucking shithead

  • He only cares about money.

  • this makes me look at rappers different now

  • Im a big supporter of hip hop and david banner brought up a good point i never thought of saying "we rap this way because thats how life is. if u dont like it, then fix the injustices we face"

and also im disappointed that Dyson,banner/crump, or master P didnt bring up the simplest reason why rap music isnt that positive: Blame the radio for playing commercial garbage.

i think that explains it perfectly. well at least i dont think that point was brought up in THIS video

  • This, ladies and gentelman, is why the phrase 'verbal diarrhea' exists.

  • Hes got rage and Hes a congressman? This dood should get over it and quit holding the past in his heart. Why remain bitter continually? There are still people in the south who think the war is not over! They want to fight the north again. That doesnt mean we have to take on the anger of those who passed it on to us.In other words were not under the curse of the past.We dont have to respond to the pins in the voodoo doll of black anger.Get over it and forgive and move on.ITS NOT the White mans fault.

  • My favorite rapper in this video is Dr. Michael Eric Dyson. His flow is sick, man. He's actually kicking some incredibly tight doubletime punchlines starting at 1:46! Just look at Mr. Towns at 2:14. He got served! Bobby Rush used to be a better rapper when he was part of N.W.A.! All the drugs he took made him rap lamely.

This is still the craziest hip-hop battle I've ever seen.

Finally "Jan SchaKKo" is singing the coolest hook ever.

I Don't like the Wigger at the end, though.

  • lol this is such bullshit. hip hop is now industrialized, the message is deep and hidden, it has to be stopped end of story. its convertin more dumbasses into thugz cuza its industrialization

  • Fuck Stereotypes

  • LOL 2:14 SHIT NIGGA WAT U JESS SAY?

  • where was KRS

  • Look at that dude's face lol. 2:14

  • Oh God, I love Ms. Schakowsky who doesn't want to be "categorized as a privileged white woman who can't recite the rap music... it's hard to get into each other's head because we come from different perspectives and it's hard to get into each other's head." Then why aren't black executives in control of the technology itself, the media. If she said that it's hard to get into each other's head then why are white people controlling the images of blacks which get into people's head?

  • lol David Banner and Master P should be lucky to have such an educated man to go word for word with the white educated congress mentalities. Master P was like "i was just trying to make money i didn't think kids would listen to this...." umm that was dumb...he knew ALL people would listen to his drug related music..more accurately he should have stated:

  • @Rachael5922 And all those people sitting up there on that panel that they should be so lucky to talk to are all full B.S. Parents needed to find out what there kids are watching and what they are listening to and who they run with. Parents need to stop looking to celebrities period to raise there kids for them. I was listening to rap at a very young age like 2 live crew and N.W.A. and I never tried to imitate any of the stuff they said in there songs.

  • @buckeye257

well apparently you are authority on sucky parenting huh

  • @Rachael5922 Don't get mad it's the truth parent's want celebrities to raise there kids. And those rap videos that use to come on B.E.T. called B.E.T. uncut came on late for a purpose they even telling that it adult content before the program even starts. So why don't the parents take time to find out what there kids are watching and block those channels on that cable box, oh that to much work uh.

  • @Rachael5922 And if you don't like what there saying in there music don't buy it then there's a lot of power in what you buy and don't buy. And be mad at the females who dance in them videos as well instead of working hard and looking for that fast buck just like a stripper does, if they don't want to be portrayed that way then don't dance in the video then, but guess what there s always the next women looking to take the easy way and get quick money from shaking that ass.

  • Some might argue that the content of our music serves as poison to the mind of our generation... "It does." Alt+F4

  • Master P gets huge kudos for stepping up to bat..Respect.

  • a lot of excuses...you dont yell fire in a crowded theater..bottom line. Hip Hop did NOT start off negative..it saved lives...this is about them saving a pay check and business relationships..

    they are speaking jibberish..

  • Mr Rush is a real cat..True School..

  • I love the way Dyson speaks. He should make a rap al.

    DOWN SOUTH!!!

  • very intresting conversations!! I wish i was there

  • fail. its rap music that drives this urban gang wars! fucking idiots.

  • @halflifeproductionz Wrong... It's poverty that drive gang wars. Gang wars are simply geto versions of coporate take overs. One side wants to monopolize for maximum profits; in the case of gang wars it's guns and drugs. When there's no productive jobs available in poor communities, the alternative is to survive through criminal activities or starve. The music is the product of the environment, not the other way around.

  • absolute nonsense. these are useless extremely hipocritical black men who serve the propaganda model to keep ignorance at the fore front of black minds. The American Propaganda model includes (Education, Religion, Music, Television, and politics. One can witness in this video extremely propagadized individuals discuss absolute bull shit. Do you really think that the controllers really want to get a propaganda form that works.

  • I likedt he way this was prepared here.

  • Why did this hearing even happen in the first place? Why is congress trying to censor/steer the direction of musical expression when there are far more important issues to be dealt with...not to mention that really anyone should be able to make whatever kind of music they want according to the 1st Amendment?

  • @LaZboy9876 This hearing was called after Don Imus called the Rutger's Women's Basketball team "nappy headed hoes" and then defended his comment as free speech. He said that he should be allowed to use the term because the African American community refers to black women in the same way. The hearing was called by Senator Rush (who represents Chicago) in the wake of the fallout from Imus' comment and subsequent firing from MSNBC.

  • Rap is bad, Hip-hop however is good and will always.

  • smart black men!!! yall betta LISTEN!!!

  • I doubt anything he's talking about is what goes on in a rappers mind. Rappers sell children out for personal profit. They are as guilty as any other capitalist exploiters. Rock music is really not any better than rap. The main difference is black youth are more vulnerable to manipulation. Especially disproportionately having absent fathers. But rap music does not have any positive effects. You can bring issues to light in productive ways rather than worsening them.

  • @IBeatUpThugs If the media and record companys actually grabbed rappers with talent and positive attitude, like lets say, Blue Scholars, Common Market, P.O.S., Nine Leaves, Substantial, Oddisee, Insight, then it would be pretty different, the media Rap shows only not even an 8 percent of what Hip Hop is, the record company just grabs the image, and not the true rapper with love for the art and his environment, there are more concience rappers than thugs, but thugs just get more airtime on tv.

  • @IBeatUpThugs Rap music doesn't have positive effects? It's music, it's an art form. It's not supposed to make us better humans. Expect to see social criticism and a reflection of our world in music. If people want to stop the negativity and the talk of violence, why won't they start where those very same conditions exist? Don't try to shut their way of expressing their discontent.

  • @Thales880 -Excuse the interjection, but is it supposed to make us 'worse humans' then? I think it's working.

I all too easily and often see the negative effects on people I knew growing up in and around Toronto, falling right into the stereotype.

  • I think the real problem is people are not asking for more. This is capitalism so if you dont like something you dont have to buy it. There is always an artist that is for you. People in general have gotten too used to the media telling them what to do. Thinking for themselves.

People act as if there is no positive Rap music out there. But if I play De La Soul, people will likely not like it, because it's not the norm.

Also, White kids statistically buy more Rap music than black people.

  • People in position of power just never will understand the duty of pop culture (and hip hop being part of that culture at large) to show you the good, the bad and the ugly, and still keep you entertained.

& People in power have always gone after the black arts harder than the white arts...have these people listened to punk music...some of the stuff there is no better than the worst rap songs.

Yet black arts should be more subtle & proper (according to the dominant culture and institutions)

  • If 2Pac was alive, he'd probably be sitting up there with P and David Banner.

  • hell yeah, this is bigger than Hip-Hop.

  • he said every single dre day.... 8:35

  • @tommydbest this is the establishment creating the divide, once they divide they conquer everything that is going on in the world is occuring through war principles and techniques. There is a War on for your minds your soul and your right to live

  • @tommydbest lol he's Dr.Dre's fan:)

  • @tommydbest LMAO..how ironic is that right?

  • @tommydbest DRE DAY ONLY MAKE...EASY'S PAYDAY LMFAO

  • word

  • Young black kids nowadays listen to rap music and look up to rappers and want to be like them.

So they act out thinking that they can someday be like that (without putting education first) and get involved in violence.

Think about it, MOST RAP MUSIC talks about drugs, guns, killing, woman, cars, etc.

  • @BroadCastTuber

Most Hip Hop Music on the RADIO talks about drugs, guns, killing, woman, cars, etc.

  • Hip Hop music talks about drugs, violence, misogyny, etc. on TV, the web, CDs, etc.

Now underground Hip Hop is just that - underground. Those that listen to it are already not a part of the poisonous mass cultural hypnosis of mainstream rap music. But they constitute a small percentage of the total listeners and their music is not promoted heavily enough.

Think of it this way - REAL Hip Hop is 100% organic food while mainstream Rap is the high fructose corn syrup and MSG laden crap.

  • Comment removed

  • 8:36 "I come to work every single day to act as a puppet to the illuminati so they don't kill me before my elected term is up!" Speak on it Master P!

  • Is there anybody out there willing to point the finger at the true problem of the Hip Hop culture; the main killer of Hip Hop is the radio programers, they are putting the same type of Hip Hop artist in heavy rotation, while others (positive, motivating, uplifting) artist are ignored and basicly blackballed without any support from greedy radio programers. There's ova 1,000,000 styles of Hop Hop; but you wouldn't know it listening to the radio.

  • I agree 100% with you. Groups that are similar to NWA talking about bitches, cars, clothes, drugs, and big money are the only songs that are played on the radio and videos. And groups like little brother that have positive messages in their hip hop take a far back seat and is forced into the underground scene where the real roots of hip-hop Lay.

  • MrSideEFX is right... there are 1000's of positive rappers out there... Kanye West USED to be one of the few that were mainstream during his first to second album....

  • this is a good discussion

  • Was there ever a hearing on "sex, drugs and rock-n-roll"?

The only difference betwee us and Germany is that jews never went after jews unless threatened with their lives.

  • jup gutes vid, und an die kerle geht mal auf GeileZone . com damit ihr mir nicht immer das gleiche schreibt

  • shit is real and people need 2 stop thinkin that the man aint behind makin all this gangsta music popular then they wanna say its a rpoblem. Like they said w rap about what we see and we didnt make it this way. And also we were brought here as slaves we didnt have any freedom. Do u live in Scotland dumbass were talkin about America

  • You're right bruv, but stardom blinds us to press rappers to take responsibility.

When asked what he can do to change the music, Davids gonna say that he pumps funds back into his community, so what? We gonna wait for 10yrs to wait on a change?

He knows hes wrong, he knows to stop describing whats goin on where hes from like he's still in it and start talkin sense in his rhymes and bring his generations minds up.

Not just Banner but all rappers.

    Flip the script.

  • I'm American, I didn't have to deal with the stresses of the 1200's or the 1800's. Are you black? Were you a slave in America? Your ancestors may have been slaves, So were mine. I personally think that Rap/ Hiphop has no effect on people. I don't think music is making people kill people. people kill people, and its been happening for 1000's of years. murdabitch? Come back when you've experienced life. I know your only 12...

  • actually i am balck and im not 12 im 22. I didnt deal with slavry but i do realize the curropt country i live in and i understand that blacks are targeted. Have u ever been stopped by the police for nothing i have u might be American but i bet you're not black u wouldnt understand.

  • I'm not exactly sure were you live, or where your from. I'm up here in Seattle, I guarantee if you came up here into a "white" neighborhood, you would be LESS targeted than if I came down there, into a "black" neighborhood. I have been pulled over by cops just walking down the street. I've also been held gun point because someone thought I was reported as pointing guns at cars. Now I want to mention that I'm Ex military. I served 4 years in the USAF before getting shot up in Iraq.

  • You want to see discrimination. Go over to Iraq. You'll see discrimination 100 fold.

  • I feel u but I live in Baltimore Maryland and its enough discrimination where im at. I feel sorry for the Iraqi's but i dont live in that country so i can only speak on the country I live in and thats America a so called free country

  • I like hip hop, but David Banner, He seemed kind of stupid, "We were brung here as slaves", Actually YOU were not brought here as slaves. Slaves happened all over the world. Look at the English Scottish history, English use to use Scots as their slaves. Scots were white. Slavery happened all over the world. I was never a slave, but should I be mad that my ancestors were slaves? Should I be mad that the English use to try to breed out Scots?

  • Thats a dumb and invalid comment.

I hop you've changed mindset within this last month.

  • How is it invalid? You live and overcome. I hate it when people are so damn dramatic about blacks and slavery. Yeah it was bullshit, but fuck slavery happened all over the world. Asians were slaves, Whites were slaves, Blacks were slaves. I don't think its valid to be pulling out the slavery card and talking about how dramatic it was when your GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT grandpa was a slave. Like these feelings were passed on by DNA or some shit...

  • This niaive cracker talkin like he knows sutn.

Bitch the reason behind slavery was to rob the people of their natural resources and create the wealth for the vatican and the elite. We were to be used for your nations disposal.

Our native homeland TODAY is in ruins because of SLAVERY.

Black people across the globe TODAY face racism on every level.

Blacks were strategically set up to fail. History books telling us lies.

  • @mykinfoknew From what I was able to understand here. I think you should go back to your room and put your tin foil hat back on. With that being said. I wouldn't say blacks are more targetted than whites. It would mainly be where your at. If you city is hard on blacks, you should move away. for my nations disposal? Is this not your nation? Are you not American?

  • @mykinfoknew I'm American, I've also been out of country to know that your ass wouldn't survive outside the USA. You take a lot of freedom for granted I think

  • Who told you I'm from America and who told you I havent travelled????

Once again you know sh*t and you making claims to back your stupid ass mentality.

I suppose now you're gonna say well you dont know nothin about america!!

You're a straight dumb ass fool.

  • Where are you from, were have you been? I assume your American because your talking like you know American policies.... Im not going to tell you that you know nothing about America, However I been around America. There are some states that are pretty jacked up. If your having a hard time where your currently at maybe you should go to another state that will allow you to succeed so you can go back to that place and run it.

  • It's not fair. I agree, But saying that whites are crooked is wrong. I'm from Seattle. My wife is of darker skin. Shes currently has 2 associates degrees, 1 bachelors, and working on her masters. I can guess the next your going to say, "Shes a puppet" Hell you would probably say the same thing about MLK. I know something tho, If you brought that shit around my wife, she would bust (bus) your shit up.

  • Dont gimme dat your "wife is of darker skin" bullsh*t man. I hear dat frm you people all the time. I'm from England but don't think for a secondtheres some kind of difference in how Black people are treated cos there isn't.

The difference is the approach of strategies towards Blacks.

If your wife is Black why you can't say it?

She needs to buss yo' sh*t up.

If she is Black, why would I have a bad thing 2say about her graduating by overcoming stumbling blocks set up for her to fail??

  • @mykinfoknew One. Who gives a fuck if shes "black". I love her regardless of what skin color she is or what "name" you fucks put on that skin color. I DONT think at lease were I live that "blacks" get treated any differently than "whites" or "crackers" as some below have called. I mean fuck have some fucking class.... seriously. I mean if saying that "whites" have it in for "blacks" is what makes you happy, so be it. I don't think Raichelle(wife) had to overcome many things being "black"

  • Don't get vex, this is a debate. It doesn't make me happy that Blacks r mistreated in western societies but we''ve always overcome. what annoys me is peeps like u.

You deny the factors that have always been there. Just bcos it aint in your face, does that mean its not there?

You think a trophy Black wife gives you the right to believ it dont exist.

Cud it possibly be that your wife doesn't want anything to do with touchin on that issue?

Either way, she is dealing with prejudice

  • @mykinfoknew I guarentee that blacks are mistreated over here. So are latinos. Hell I've seen whites mistreated. It's probably rougher in some parts of the country than in others. Here in Seattle, I don't see blacks being treated any different than whites, or asians. If I want down into the south. Mississippi, maybe Texas. I may see some of this. I agree man. If its happening it needs to be fixed. I'm not defending dumb ass whites/latinos/asians who may thing its right to do this stuf

  • And through all of that, were still here and many of us are doing well.

You crackers in corporate offices control the minds of our poverty stricken young BLACK males/females TODAY to keep them dreamin big through ways that are impossible while not focusing on their studies, all through illusions.

Crack epedemic, Tuskagee Project, AIDS, the Projects, prohibited neighbourhoods for Blacks TODAY AND THE LAST 50 YEARS.

    YOU Dont know shit.

    Wanna bus ya ass.

& I didnt even bring up the topic

  • @mykinfoknew hahaha... WOW... Where are you from? Have you graduated high school? Have you had any college? If not how old are you? Have you ever been locked up? What did you do?

  • 2:15.. the funniest look ever after being schooled lol

    so true what he said.

  • First off im not a nigga. if you truly knew your black history you would know that indains owned slaves and refused too free them. if you want to know who was a great black man look up booker t washington who was born a slave

  • I think the only way to deal with our problems are to go back to Africa or the white race needs to unsegregate themselves in all aspects of living and get more involve in our communities because apparantely, we can't do it ourselves.........opinion

  • I'm not his biggest fan, and I'm not going to back everything he says, but Al Sharpton hit it on the head when he said...

"I don't know about you, but I use a mirror to correct what's

wrong with me, I don't look in the mirror to see my

hair messed up and my teeth need brushing and just walk out of the house that way. I use the mirror to fix me."

This hip-hop culture must use their music, their influence to correct what's wrong, not to continue to perpetuate what's wrong..."

    DING!

  • i totally agree

  • Hip Hop is more than beats, drums and beat boxing; its a power surge of violence, a degradtion to men and women and particularly black people. Good music does not will a person to be physically violent to women, cut, rob, shoot and kill people.

How ironic that Hip Hop, which supposedly, frees the sprit, has become the anthem of slavery and bondage.

  • that's true but if u was not brought here you would be living in Africa. the great USA is in a whole lot better place than there. over there the leader kills you if you over populate. so be grateful my man. Oh by the way, Did u know indains owned slaves also

  • nigga stop lying not all of Africa is poor nor do those same polocies exist and also indians were not slave owners they were in concentration camps called reservations the so called indians u are talking about are whites who still claim to be indian no dam well they are blonde hair blue eye savages

  • There is one thing that has existed since the inception of this great nation that DOES justify the use of the word Nigga and all words for that matter and that thing is. The First Amendment of the US Consitution. Freedom of Speech. Deal with it.

  • Go to Georgia Avenue in Washington, DC.

  • Comment removed

  • hey blacktruth whitey dont blame black people for there problems. its the other way around, its always whiteys fault. what i dont get is if u dont like it here in the great USA why dont u leave. i dont get it. these rappers are capitalist which what this country is based on. if these rappers love there people so much i want to see them go fix the hood they came from. no they leave

  • 2:14 LMAO HIS FACE

  • How come no one ever attacks rock music for it's message?

  • Because rock is rarely glamorizing excess, degradation of females, and promiscuity. Violence, a bit, but not for the ridiculous beefs that are present in the rap community.

  • David -

  • crackers cant fix a black problem. there where no crackers at the dome in new orleans when blacks where raping and killing other blacks. if you dont stop blaming whitey you will destroy yourselves. its a law of nature that you will reap what you sow. all you got to do is stop sowing

  • goldsmithstudent--

I agree with you! Crackers can't even fix their own problems.

And you've wrecked the economy, destroyed international stability. And caused SEVERAL slaughters around the world.

Stop blaming blacks, or immigrants (Latinos) or "unfair economic competition" (Asians) and take responsibility for something!

If you want whites to be taken seriously do yourselves a favor. Do something you've NEVER done before.

Take a look in the mirror.

If you can stand the ugly view!

  • crusty old white people are in power...yyeeah

  • lol haha, spam anyone?
