This saddeningly frequent claim, that Neoliberalism is in any way similar to Fascism is idiotic. One of the main tennents of any form of Statism, of which Fascism is included, is the Welfare State. It should go without saying that the Welfare State is an idea that Neoliberals disdain. I'm not sure where the idea came from that the totalitarianism of Fascism is in any way related to the small "l" Libertarianism of Neoliberalism, but it's idiotic.
