I had a VHS video in the early 80s and I used to hire this video over and over again from the video shop. Who was the girl in the front seat? I was in love with her!!!
She was a very nice girl who worked at the Boardwalk. She was assigned to us while we were shooting to make sure everything went smoothly, so we put her in the film. The family-run Boardwalk is a wonderful connection to the past...and it continues to be run very smoothly today. A great place for young and old alike.
Many thanks for reply. I live in Yorkshire England. Back then as I said it was one of my favorite videos. VHS was just coming out. There was no internet, I dont think ZX Spectrums were invented yet. I would not of believed that I would one day hear from the guy who filmed America Screams. The power of the internet!!! Thanks again.
This was on ITV in 1982, filling in for a live sports programme which ended early. I recorded some of it and would love to have the whole show. The end tune is the same as the BBC Grandstand theme.
Excellent guess! 1978. My Friend and I shot a documentary on amusement parks and roller coasters (first of its kind, even though they are now all over the Discovery and Travel Channels). That's me 3 rows back on the left. Look closer and you'll see the black camera cable on the front of the car I am sitting in so I can turn the camera on and off. Price was a wonderful man and had a great time doing the film.
So you actually worked with the great man! I've always been a fan of his films, and through youtube am currently discovering A LOT of hard-to-find / hard-to-identify TV work of various kinds, from talk shows to guest appearances in TV series... This film of yours being one of the most surprising things to find him involved in!
Wonderful man, for sure: for further proof of his comedy talents, check his tribute to Bette Davis on the site. It's hilarious.
Yes, I was very fortunate to work with him. He was so kind and so polite, even to me (a nobody). Thanks for the Bette Davis lead - another great Price clip.
I just love him

What a rare Price thang! What year is it from? Around 1975 at a guess?

@luckyzert My mom is a huge fan of his and raised me on him. He's awesome! My mom and Dad both met him and said he was very down to earth.
