  • I really enjoyed this film. It's amazing to me how much great entertainment comes out of Canada that we never hear about in the U.S. That's not to say that there isn't a lot that does find its way down here. Much of that is music and comedy, though. If this is what someone can do with a relatively low (by U.S. standards) budget in Canada, then by all means, let's have more Canadian films.

  • @gamgsb Thanks! We agree :)

  • As an American, I have to say, this was an AWESOME film! Saw it in the theatre with my Canadian friends in Vancouver. My grandfather fought with the AEF, but I feel this movie told his storey as well. This film was tough, gritty, and I'm very glad it was made. It tells all the horrors of war, even as I experienced them myself. Way to go, Paul Gross!!

  • it sucks that canada is so poor in the movie making department. because passchendaele was a pretty good film. imagine how much we could do and the movies we could make if we had the stuff that the U.S. has. come on, united states, stop hogging the media! lol

  • yo man at the beginning he calls Canada poor what a piece of shit

  • @LloydChristmas334 The only reason he calls us poor is probably because we're not a giant economic power house who have nukes hiding under our beds.

  • I'm suprised that no one has remade All quite on the western front, but with a saving privet ryan style of shooting. So people could see the real horror of war

  • @Darkknight7853 they did in 1979

  • thank you mr gross so much!!

i cant wait to see it, november 11th :]
