i use the plugin pete's d3d driver 1.77. it makes characters, chocobos, moogles, treasure chests etc in 3d and hd. but not background images. they look much smoother and you can see more details.

@GregRK7 sorry pal i own this on disc although the european one wont work on most emulators i would reccomend googling snesorama then going to the forums and dling the ntsc version of this game
