  • im sorry but his kicks are all wrong theres no drive in the kick and its stationary. his push kicks arnt done properly as well. he may be a good fighter but theres so much he could improve technique wise to easily increase the power and end the fight with just one powerful strike. good for the ring but its not as good street wise. his top body also dosnt follower threw with the rest drastically lowering the power. with a few tweeks he could take some one out with just one kick.

  • youll get kicked in the face you have to use your hand to block your face while doing the front kick

  • but they always say that if your shadow boxing you always wanna folow trough with your kicks and punches to avoid injury

  • Laugh of fucking loud at some of you. Two Pro fighters showing MT moves, but according to you lot they're wrong. I didn't realise so many pro fighters watched beginner videos. I'm only a beginner hence why im here, after looking up O'Kane and Yacoubian's fights I think it's ok to say that they know alot more than the youtube warriors on here.

  • comment my video (thai boxing on long bag 1 and 2 )

  • If Muay Thai Kick Boxer starters want to become legends, watch this, "buakaw por pramuk a TOURS ( 3 )", on YouTube.

  • WTF??? the boy is all the time downing his guard when he kick a tecnick

(Im sorry for my bad english, Im spanish)

  • the fighters name is shawn yucobian if u guys think he has bad kiks go chek out fights hes fukin nuts

  • why dont u demonstrate this yourself instead of just talking, and if you put someone to do it at least put someone that knows how and someone who is also in shape. .

  • is that guy a pro in muay thai? man, I don´t think so :/

  • anywhere between the knee and the toes? no anywhere between the knee and the ankle/laces, do not kick with you actual foot, will not hurt your opponent and will hurt you.

  • wtf "expert village"? wheres the technique?? you've lost it somewhere, go find it...

  • My master, who is actually Thai (not mexican). Would beat this guy in the legs with a cane poll until he: stepped out, lifted on his toes, rotated his hips and shoulders and actually throw a half way decent tiip. Suck it Expert Garbage.

  • expert village sucks!

  • agreed

  • @iLuvHardStyle why does it suck?

  • To me it looks like there missing the slight side step to load up the roundhouse. This also shifts the point where your kick run's out of steam from the side of your target to deep into there body. Bas Rutten has some very good examples of this through some of his video's on youtube.

  • he should actually explain the kick step by step and demonstrate each step slowly...just sayin...

  • or at least point out that you should turn ur heal 180 degrees so that it is facing ur opponent at the end of the kick,

  • hes not usen his hips enuf to generate power

  • if you have ever tried kicking thin air, you will know that it's bloody hard to do it properly. if you did do it at 70% power you would probably fall over or damage your knee in the process.. also its a demonstration so people are supposed to be able to see what he is doing..

  • great point.

    yes it's true.

it hardly ever feels 'right' when your not kicking a bag or pads.

  • hahaha i rememnber the first day of muay thai i fell on my ass, im sure everyone has though lol

  • @6ftUnder92592 dont get me started on the left round house kick that was hard

  • wow...not so expert village...does he mean push kick? he isnt lifting the push high enough, nor snapping correctly...

  • aint he supposed to stay on his toes while doing the round-kick?

  • yes he is

  • good vid

  • buen entrenamiento

  • Look at my vids, do i look like one?

  • what a load of shit, why isnt some thai person showing this?(cause its a load of shit)

  • man this is my fav kick in muay thai the whip kick and the round kick, its my style and i use it all the time. but the difference between muay thai and kickboxing is that muay thay always has one leg lifted off the ground, i use my left foot and always it off the ground while my right is the knock out* but i kick with my left foots heel of the ground* always.

  • you can see him holind one hnd up to the side of his face, that is ment to block/slap off counters and the other arm he is using for the kick so he gets more speed in the rotation.

alot of kickboxers and muay thai fighters do not block during a kick. if they do, the kick has less speed and would be less damaging.

  • is he meant to be dropping his hands when kicking?

  • Yes, the side he kicks with, that hand would swing back behind the kicking leg for more torque and momentum, thus more power =) Your other hand would stay and guard your head. The reasoning for this is because if you're kicking at someone, unless they're chimpanzees, their arms won't be able to reach your face for a counter at kicking distance. Hope this helped =D

  • naw man i doubt that with some practice you can block and kick like a demon at the same time. this is my fav kick i use it alot the whip kick,

  • its personal preference to weather u swing the hand the side u kick .Some schools teach u to extend the arm out instead of swinging it.,a bit less power but more defencive. If u do swing the arm make sure your shoulder covers the chin.Personal i extend the arm out in the way Rob Kaman demonstrates in his MT training videos .I find that extending my arm out helps set up the kick as it looks like a Punch
