One of the reasons we went to Iraq was because Saddam violated U.N. sanctions for 11 years, not the least of which was kicking out weapons inspectors.
The Left seems to forget that fact when they say Iraq was "all about oil"
We also learned that those countries in the U.N who opposed action in Iraq had their hands in the "oil for food" money and didn't want their pay-offs to end.
Many of the loudest voices from the Left are professors who should know this stuff. they are paid to teach facts
