Guys I need a help with the 2nd trial. Even though I did it, it was a bit random so I did it without understand how to do it and it turns out that on the last trial i have to do it again. I do not understand when to start pressing the buttons after the fireball. Even though I keep pressing them non-stop, it just wouldnt do flying kick. Can you please teach me how to do it?

You should get it... Sure it's less violent than it's predecessors that's because they're unable to pull the spinal cord out of Superman, Batman, etc...) and they're may be less easter eggs, but it's enjoyable nevertheless as it plays far more like its predecessors than MK games following DA-- no style-branching dial-a-combos!

Just like in SFIV, this trials are DIFFICULT and only practice makes perfect.

Almighty Master Zirtoc ,

im having a fuck load of trouble with # 10, not with the timing, not the moves, but koz everytime i get to the bicycle kick, he moves around the character while doing it. Meaning if im on the left side pushing forward forward, he swaps sides in the middle of my move making it backwards, some times he swaps sides twice, sometimes he does it towards the camera and the inputs at the top will flicker left and ryt koz they dunno wat side to be on? This happen 2 u at awl?

are you doing it on Shao Kahn? Reason he's in the video is becuase he's a larger character it's easier to hit Liu's kombo's on hit. Just make sure you do the kick motion very quickly after the fireball.

That (toward, toward X toward, toward, Y) move is a bitch to pull off since the asterkey icon doesn't flash to tell me when to input the next move. It makes Combo's #2, #4, and #10 an annoyance...

I don't know about buttons on 360 but at the last jump hit to fireball you need to release the jump before you hit so you can go in the fire ball in the air.once jump in the air you don't have to hold just tap and realease for better speed.

I did all of Liu Kang expect the three kombos with this kick after the fireball.

(They were all easy, it was fun to try them and finally to have them all after a short time)

Do you touch the ground before you do the kick?

Watch the video! I think I did on #2, but I'm not sure it matters. I definitely didn't on #4 and #10. You do the kick right after the fireball hits your opponent, while you are still in the air.

When the fireball connects with your opponent, then you do the kick. You want to be on the late side of the fireball hitting your opponent, not the early side.

It's been a long time since I've done this. I suspect you have to wait slightly before putting in the bicycle kick - if you notice on the video, I kick Shao twice with one press of the A button. (X button on PS3) Try waiting until that second kick starts to go through.

Oh this is getting stupid now, am I the only one who can't do the promove in #2. I tried doing the fire ball then waiting for like a half a second like zirtoc did and doesn't work. This is the only promove I can't do

Forget what I said about touching the ground, I don't think it matters. Just wait until the last possible moment for the first kick, immediately fireball, and the flying kick needs to be just slightly slow. (Final button press after the fireball.) It is the same timing as #4 and #10 - if you are able to get the flying kick off but it's late, then you must be connecting on the jump kick too early.

Okay. Here's a new idea. Go to practice mode and set your opponent to jump. Then you can practice doing it in the air. It's still hard, but it's a lot easier than doing it so close to the ground.

Then you can jump straight up and do your fireball, with the same idea - do the flying kick right after the fireball hits, but before you hit the ground.

I just can't do the (Toward Toward X) * (Toward Toward Y) The Promove in Kombo #2.

I just simply can't do it, I keep shooting the fire and then toward toward Y but nothing happens, I tried it at different times and nothing.

Any help on this would be much appericated.

It looks like I kick Kahn in the feet. This is so I can be very near the ground. I did the fireball in the air, then did the kick as soon as I hit the ground.

You always do the kick slightly after the fireball connects - you'll need to remember this for #4 and #10. Good luck!

hey the guy with the highest gamerscore in this game is like 945 and hes only missing beat liu kang and mk and dc charactesr kombo challenges, you should get all the achievements and be the first to get 1000/1000, good stuff man

Great job on the kombos. I need help with #4 though. Its the last one I have to do to be 100% done with kombo challenge. The hard part for me is getting the timing down for the F,F+X right after the U/F+X. I can get it sometimes but thent he F,F+Y never does. Thanks.

Yes, this is tricky. F,F,X needs to be done immediately. But you must wait to F,F,Y until your fireball hits your opponent. You'll actually start to drop in the air before doing it, but you must do it before you hit the ground. That should help!

Just try to be on the late side of the fireball hitting your opponent.

I usually ace through about 7 of them, and then spend an hour or two on the really hard ones. Shang Tsung #10 has proven exceptionally difficult so far...lot of hours on that one, and I hope to get it today!

I done it, it was pretty easy after i learned how to put the y,b,bicycle-kick part together. I had a bit of trouble getting the fly-kick chained with the fireball, but figured out it worked best if you pressed fw,fw,y straight after the fireball comes out.

Practice that stupid bicycle kick on the ground first if you have trouble with that. Do Y,B,Bicycle kick first. Then practice X-Y,B,Bicycle Kick.

The fireball and the kick are the same as number 4...hard! But possible.

Notice I hit my opponent at the very top of the screen with the third punch. As soon as I put that in, I put the fireball in right away. Then he'll do it in the air.

Getting the timing for the next kick is even harder! Wait until the fireball explodes, then do it as Liu Kang starts to fall.
