  • BOYCOTT ALL MORMON BUSINESSES INCLUDING THE MARRIOTT HOLELS!!!! Don't support their sick agenda of child abuse polygamy and racism. BOYCOTT MARRIOTT HOTELS AND ALL OHTER MORMON OWNED BUSINESSES!!!!

  • You're kidding me right?...This is perhaps one of the most bigoted unknowledgable comments I've recieved here. I personally deplore child abuse and racism. (BTW the LDS Church was the FIRST Christian denomination in the USA to teach that African Americans had souls...study it out a little). And as for polygamy, one set of in-laws is enough for me. Yet I support it as it is scripturally based.

  • I studied anthropology, and the ostentatious outfit seems like it would've made us Seattlites a little stand-offish. I am glad that Seattle has great diversity, including your religion. Aren't you? May I challenge you to find beauty in others' faith, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc? And perhaps to do so without the nametag? I hope to not offend you, and I hope you had a blast in the greatest city in the world, Seattle.

  • Not offended at all. Seattlites were only stand-offish when they believed something someone else had told them about our faith instead of studying it out on their own in scripture, in history, or with us. I GLADLY accept others' faith and believe everyone has a right to their convictions :o) Disagree with me and I'm fine, but give me my chance to speak too. The nametag isn't meant to offend, only represent. And yes, Seattle is the greatest city in the world.

  • I love Seattle, Washington very much, and I am home sick (even though I move back in a few weeks!), so in my search for Seattle vids, I found this. I thought the purpose of the two-year mission of Mormons was to get out in the world, but you seemed to be surrounded by others like yourself.

  • Thank you for your comments. To respond, the true purpose of a mission for a Latter Day Saint is "to bring others unto Christ" through the ordinances of baptism and confirmation. We can be sent anywhere in the world. I was blessed with Seattle! This video it looks like I just hung out with a lot of other Mormons. Not true though; this short video was made for a couple of old friends in Seattle. The best parts of the two years seeing ppl's lives change as they commited themselves to the Lord.

  • Since you posted this as viewable to the public, you must expect all types of comments. I am going to have to do it in two separate entries, because I have things to say:

  • that must have been amazing!

  • Approval by whom? Must be a Mormon deciding to censor me. They are used to having it done to them, and like many abuse victims, they perpetuate the cycle.

    Censorship is just sick.

  • I only censor things will foul language and incredibly abusive remarks. I approved your comments because you obviously do not fully understand the LDS Faith, and I believe it is fair for ppl such as yourself to have your opinion, even if it differs from mine. If you were as sincere in your search for religious truth as you are in degrading others' faith perhaps your comments would find more joy and less hate in them.

  • Mormon missionaries are taught to feed potential converts "milk before meat". It's a nice way of saying "don't tell them about polygamy, racist attitudes, sexism, blood atonement, creepy rituals, magic underwear or the fact that we believe that women can only enter the highest degree of glory if their husbands call their secret temple name (which is the same as every other woman married at any given LDS temple on any given day)before they commit their lives to the organization!"

  • hey elder way!

this is elder lloyd. how have you been doing? i'm doing well; just working and going to school. i was quite surprised to find this on youtube. when i watched it, i almost cried; so many good times. well, keep up the good work because it never ends.

  • it remind me of my mission in Taiwan. can u teach me how to do it? I am Bro Soh from Malaysia. Thanks in advance

  • It looks like you had a lot of fun on your mission. Thanks for going. I'm sure you made a difference. (:
