  • Translation (part 2)

At that time a voice from far away [said]

    Remember who you are!

Don't even forget yourself this night,

    Wait for courage,

    Without disappearing.

That's right, you used to be a soldier.

Certainly, grasp that freedom once more!

T/N Like I said, this translation is not without any mistakes! Like "Kata no nukegara" literally means discarded skin of the shoulder.. but I translated it a bit.. freely I suppose XD I do hope that the lyrics are completely correct though!

  • Oh my god. I'm crying. That was so beautiful. I miss my older brother. (T.T)

  • Everything is funnier in Japanese

  • japan does a great job :D Keep It Going! :3

  • please who know what is the name of the singer???

  • JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • I almost cried... That's beautiful, such a shame there's only English version on the CD... For me Japanese is much better...

  • no way nice in Japanese

  • I love the spirit movie and the soundtrack, but this japanese version is AWESOME!

  • I like the japanese version of the song. But the singer sounds a bit like a goat while the long phrases ^^

  • @LittleLadyLou I'm Japanese so I'll tell a little secret...that little waver in his voice is considered sexy/cute/beautiful in the Japanese culture.Don't ask me why it just is and I myself am trying to perfect it.

  • @syxxfreakinstyx

Thank you for telling me that... Its really interesting and I never heard it before :)

  • @syxxfreakinstyx

Ah, and: If people ask me this question. am I allowed to use your answer?? :D

  • @LittleLadyLou sure I don't care. But its just the way I see it and have been brought up to appreciate.

  • Can someone give me the japanese lyrics?? ^^

  • wow. this sounds so cool.

  • Nice! :D I wonder, is it translated exactly? I mean, does the sentences mean the same in english and japanese? Just wondering, trying to learn some japanese :) Sorry for bad english.

  • @vivvisha actually, since the words in Japanese mean different things as well, and since they use same words for different meanings, it isnt translated exactly. In most cases when a song is translated from English to Japanese, they use the word most likely to fit the space, they cant use the exact word that was used in english, cuz they dont have a word for it, and besides the grammar is all different too.

  • u know all japanees sound amazing i think thats why it sounds so powerful that and the fact most of i dont speek japanese.Personly i think its awsome .

  • I love Japanese. This voice is very powerful. Byran's version is good, but I prefer this one.

  • i will check it out now, im looked at here i am in german. I do like german as a language

  • this version is so much more powerful than the english version, its so beautiful

  • Naja, das LIed is echt schön aber ich finde diese Sprache passt echt nch dazu, es lässt das Lied einfach nur dahingesungen wirken und dadurch verliert das Lied den traurigen touch dens eigentlich hat^^ (Auch wenn ich japanisch sehr mag ^^) Am besten ist die Englische version find ich ^.^

  • i like this :))

  • I love it! O3O It's just a beautiful language!I just love it!(L)

  • Lovely version! Now that I can read the lyrics, thanks to Charoiz for providing them, I want to know who sings this. :D

    Thanks for sharing!

  • This is sung by Juichi Morishige ^^

  • beautiful!

  • wow, this is wonderful *_*

  • Looking for the lyrics ...

  • I made some kind of lyrics ^^ Rappano oto kikosete yo Toki wo koe ano hi ni kaero Susume ga ii kore isshou Zenbu nakushi kanahon saa Kizutsuita heishi wa mou tatakae nai Atano nukega na kono mama Misutete kure Rappano oto tsutaete yo Kibou nante doko ni mo nai Kurayami ni tsuma tsuki taorete wa Hashire nai kono kanashimi wo
  • Sono toki tooku de koe wa

    Kimi wa tane omoidashite to

    Jibun sae wasurete konban

    Yuuki matte

    Nakusenu you ni

Sou kimi wa zenjou no heishi

Mou ichido kitto jiyuu wo tsukame yo

  • Then I heard a voice from far away

    'Remember your roots

    Don't forget yourself, tonight

    Wait for courage

    Don't cry'

    'Yeah, you were a soldier

Once again, surely, you must reach for freedom'

  • Sound the bugle Voices of time from those days I can advance, but this is all Without even my memories (T/N: kanahon = a book written entirely in kanji, this is the closest thing I thought of) I'm a wounded soldier that also cannot fight The enemy's cast-offs... Go and leave me behind Sound the bugle I don't know where to find hope anymore I'm falling beneath the darkness Don't run to comfort me
  • I really wish i could understand japanese, it's such a wounderfull language <3

  • i know , i'm learning the japanese language some of it's easy and some of it is hard .

  • I agree

    :)

  • @co1293 O_O this is a translated vershion.. there is an english one too...

  • @xdxdjoker13 i know, but i think it is not exatly the same ^^ i love the english one too, but i still want to understand this one

  • I just meant that his vibrato hurt my ears. >>; He sounds amateurish compared to Kishou Taniyama and T.M. Revolution.

  • @DeltaSilver88 I agree with You... too much Japanese singers use vibrato

  • Can someone tell me how I can do to get this version of the song?

  • this is awesome makes me cry
