I've been feeling insecure in my doctrine but thanks to GOD I have been patient and waited upon Him as I read my Bible and Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem so I can get to know "his good, perfect, and pleasing will." (Romans 12:2)
Also, I dont agree with Hagin here in this video. Money is freely given to those who freely give. Not as "a means of gain." (1 Tim. 6:5)
@dzpisx That sounds great ..God is calling His people out of the sects/denominations and makeing Disicples like the first 12( minus judas ofcourse) and the 70 and the 500.We can get more out of staying home and reading our Bibles and wanting to follow the commandments of Christ as Disciples.If a preacher is takeing up tithes then run also because he is bringing those people under the old covenant law (Galatians 4&5)..but by giving to poor believers we can have treasure in heaven to draw from.

NO ONE pays as COMMANDED BY GOD today. 1st TITHE. Num. 18 commands this tithe for Levites. Levi. 27 30-33 = crops & animals in herds/flocks. Why? – Substitute for land inheritance. 2nd. Deut. 14 22-27 = of crops, + add firstborn animals, take to yearly feast. Why? - "that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always". 3rd. kenneth hagin was a great man of god in many areas, he has a great faith ministry, but even great pastors can get off course in areas, any time anything comes to you and says dont pray about somehting anymore, (thats not god) . god says pray about ALL THINGS, those times when kenneth hagin though jesus came to him 5 or 6 times. that was not jesus it was satan, ,how did kenneth hagin test the spirit? he ask the spirit in the form of jesus to quote bible verses (dont satan know the bible?)

@mrcooldude964 I don't know his ministry well enough to have judged anything....I have listened to sermons from him on occasion and they were all good....I do however, the word of faith movement well enough to say it is full of false doctrines and heresy....I will say that there are churches within it which are good but many of them are very controlling and hurtful ...their leaders are also beyond reproof in their authority doctrines and the prosperity gospel is blown into heresy....

Sometimes the answer comes faster than at other times but that is because there is a devil fighting to steal, kill and destroy. God has showed me that He wants His children to prosper. Lack is of the devil. Being poor doesn't glorify God. We as Christians can do more good when we are financially able to reach out to the lost and dying world.

Poverty is NOT God's will for ANYONE! It doesn't increase piety, which is a human institution anyway...it manifests lack and stress and sickness. If you're rich and a Christian who listens to God, you can do so much good in the world. Money IS of God, and he wants it in the hands of his people, not sinners. Why harrass a preacher who uses money to minister using television? Go after a casino owner who uses sin to corrupt.
But Hagin insists you are a fool for being poor. His book "How to Write Your Own Ticket with God" clearly demonstrates that he is a horribly unbiblical teacher. The title alone says enough.

I've prayed for money, but never received, yet, when I've prayed for Jesus to watch over the health of my aunt as she went in for brain surgery a week ago, He answered the prayer. No matter how much "faith" I had a week ago, a stack of twenties never materialized, and I STILL haven't won the publisher's clearinghouse sweepstakes..I wonder if I'm onto something? perhaps, there are MORE IMPORTANT THINGS FOR GOD'S CHILDREN THAN MONEY??!

Financial blessing is a fruit of a christian life, not the root. Kenneth Hagin is used by God to open the eyes of believers to possess the blessings that rightly belong to them.

Word faith teachers preach a message of greed they are vile disgusting individuals who care only about their bank balances and taking money from those less fortunate than themselves .
Luke 12 v 15 'Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.' Yeah right!

Hagin was just another money loving evangelist. I no longer believe in hell but if there is a lake of fire hes swimming in it now probably with a collection plate in his greedy hands. The word faith teachers are scum of the earth!

Claim the amount, tell the devil to take his hands off your money then then tell the ministering spirits to go and cause the money to come in. I remember reading this in his book "I Believe in Visions". Goserve, thanks for the reminder! God bless you!

I've prayed for money, but never received, yet, when I've prayed for Jesus to watch over the health of my aunt as she went in for brain surgery a week ago, He answered the prayer. No matter how much "faith" I had a week ago, a stack of twenties never materialized, and I STILL haven't won the publisher's clearinghouse sweepstakes..I wonder if I'm onto something? perhaps, there are MORE IMPORTANT THINGS FOR GOD'S CHILDREN THAN MONEY??!

Are you seeking God with your whole life? Do you want the money to get by so you can spend time with him or do things holy in his sight? Yes the method is to have faith and pray, but we must not forget their are principals behind every method.

@wolftiger Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God..keep builing your faith...some people have strong faith to get people saved but are weak in healing....keep meditating in the Word of God..

These "name it and claim, blab it and grab it, confess it to possess it" teachers are unscriptural. These guys think they can boss God around and that God can't do anything until THEY speak it into existence. So Daneduggan26, the truth is, we need LESS of men like him.
