But it's still weird that toru wont even kurt a little kid who is really and evil criminal mastermind who betrayed him in the past (valmont technically betrayed toru first when he ordered him to fight shendu and left him for dead) but before he was willing to cut a defensless girl's stomach open when he could have had her stomach pumped or something. Changeing sides doesn't magically cahnge your ethics. Just look those three losers did in a later cahpter when they tried going straight.

It's not wierd. He won't hurt a little kid because he's good now. And he was willing to kill Jade not Jackie. Valmonst didn't betrayed Toru. Ordering Toru to fight Shendu isn't betrayal. Changing sides does change your ethics.
