I probably could have done that when I was 8 if I learned. But I didn't get a computer until I was 9. The information wasn't impressive, but the fact that he put it together is. I probably couldn't have done all that at 8. And if Saturn is covered in water, doesn't that mean theres most likley life on it of some sort? Only if we could get out there and see. As for Jupiter and Mars, Jupiter is impossible to live on haha.. and I think Mars was an Earth at one point, it just had a natural disaster.
lol u talk relly funny BUT THIS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! you know even more things that i do and i have spent HOURS on the internet for info about space!
acually apparently it is....i've read, and heard many, many times about how you can fit 1000 earths in jupitor...but i mean those are just scientists who spend their entire career studying and obsearving these things....what do they know.
hevymetalmen4life pluto is a dwarf not trestreal, fail lol trestrial is a planet that is primarily composed of silicate rocks. Within the solar system, the terrestrial planets are the inner planets closest to the Sun. pluto would be the firthest, read it up.
i know you are a kid and prbably about maybe im guessing 9-11 but there are some mistakes. first off mars is red becuase the rock contains iron, and the atmosphere contain CO2(carbo-dioxide) when CO2 comes in contact with iron it rusts and since mars rock contain nothing bur iron it rust and rust turns red. second. its pronounced Olympis Mons not mars and Olympis Mons is 3 times as big as Mt everest and Olympic Mons is so big in fact it goes out of Mars atmosphere. i hope these few tips helped
You kinda sounded like the grandma in Worlds Most Scariest Places On Earth when you said "Things aren't always as peaceful as they seem" hehe so cute good work though
Good work! Your knowledge of the planets and of space exploration reminds me of my youth. I was about 8 when Sputnik was launched and have followed the space program ever since. I wonder what it would have been like to have had something like YouTube back then. Information was harder to find in those old days.
nice one guys. nothing more interersting in life than the cosmos for those with the mind to think about it. gl mikey in your future investigations. respect.
We should spend more money on space travel it could earn us lots of money from gems a diamonds and theres a moon going around saturn i believe and it has oceans of fuel and i think we have descoverd over 100 planets that we can live on but can because there to far away i also think the moon with fuel can support life as soon as it heats up 100 degrees and besides the water and plants but there would be plants soon if it heats up and if there was only water as i said
Where did you get this information?? I am aware of FOSSILIZED remains of organisms inside rocks brought back from Mars, but no life that CURRENTLY lives there. Would be interested where you learned about this ...
Great Job! Thank you for taking me on the journey to the space! I do not have a telescope, but I always look up the sky to have a feel of the stars, planets and our moon.
I would make an observation about satur saying that it is the seventh orbit.. its very important to remember that between mars and jupter there was a planet...
The credits state that Michaels's dad produced it, just how much help did he get?
If it's his work he should be proud, it's well constructed.
I'm sure his parents think his narration is cute and all, I found it uninspiring and it detracted from what could have been an interesting documentary.
Even the pros use an experienced narrator if it adds to the overall impact, they don't do it themselves.
How much help did Michael get? I am told, "not much." There was no script and no reading by Michael, contrary to some opinions voiced here.
This was produced years ago in response to an assignment by Michael's second grade teacher to "bring in a picture of one of the planets in our solar system and talk about it." The 8 year old did not have the teacher's permission to bring in an "experienced narrator." He was, alas, forced to fly by the seat of his pants on this one. :-)
Olympus MONS! Not olympus mars.. Small detail but it is the LARGEST volcano in the solar system so naming it corretly is important.
As im writing this the kid has stated Saturns rings are made of ice. Saturns rings arent made of just ice!! They're a combination of rock and ice.. jeez, any more mistakes coming i wonder?
Genius! Nice work, although I could find quite a few flaws. Like not all of Mars' surface is colder than the North Pole. The Martian equator has quite a habitable temperature.
wow, unbelievable for an eight year old.I am sure it will take another century or so fr kids from where I originate(sri lanka)get goin like this small guy, bravo
Incredible vid. :D I think that Jupiter has 63 moons, though, with four of them being distinctly bigger (Io, Callisto, Ganymede and Europa). Saturn I THINK has 61. Still... you know a heckuvalot more than *I* did at your age, lol!
Great Job Michael !! Keep up the great work . you might want to update your moon amounts , last i heard saturn had over 45 and jupiter had more then sixteen, i remeber at eight my mom said no more Lego and that i had to find a new hobby . i cant remember what sparked my interest in space but i do remember getting my first space globe at that age . :))
There were some misinformations :D but other than that it's pretty good. There are only mainstream facts but for a 8 yaers old it's ok. Keep up studying. (and if you really are interested learn tha boring math stuff (keplers laws and so on) ;P.
Very good for 8 years old child. I am almost 15 years old, I knew all these things when I was around 9-10 years old. If you like something, space in my case, you read books and learn as much as your brains can save. He likes space for sure. =)
