While it's not a choice to be born in a capitalist country, it IS a choice to take advantage of it. I can fcuk my life up and live off of handouts and drink cheap beer in a gutter, or I can start a multinational corporation and retire by 30. It's largely up to me, but without opportunity none of it would be possible. (There are different levels of opportunity within the U.S. too, and one shouldn't ignore this. In the end, still, I know that my that my own success isn't only by my own doing.)
