  • These were good looking cars. Md dad had one new back in '73, kept it a couple of years and let my mom have it in 1976. It kept cutting out on her and wouldn't run right so she traded it in for a new '76 Monte Carlo with swivel bucket seats, a Landau model. My dad told her the used Mark IV was worth more than the new monte carlo but anyway she was happy with it. Sounds like this Mark IV has an exhaust leak and kinda noisy, otherwise pretty cool.

  • @DougCameraMan

you are right, the exhaust maifold gasket has since been replaced.

  • im going to change them back to the original tail lights, hoping for a complete respray in the new year, only 57 k on it, think it was just neglected by its last owner.

  • whats with the orange tail light is that a european thing? Anyway, really hate that so many of our cars are ending up overseas. Cool car anyway but a little rough got one myself ('72) and most at home when cruising the freeways of Southern California.

U do? Yankees have disrespected this unique heritage by dissin these awsum land yachts 4 so long & lettin 'em end up @ scrap yards. That I hate. Don't diss European enthusiasts hu have & will spend their last dime tryin 2 keep these big babies on d road while in their homeland ppl cud'nt care less 4 decades

  • i love the '73 MK IV, but i fucking hate those rims!! was somebody inspired by there dinner-plate??!!damn!

    (sorry...)
