Wow I have watched many of your videos and this is the first time I realized that our hair texture is almost identitcal to yours. If you haven't seen my video can you check it out and tell me if you agree? I'm asking this because if you agree, I know that it is safe for me to follow some of your ideas and regimens. Some of the others I am subscribed too have very different hair textures than I do. I even tried some of the regimens I seen and ended up with a protein overload (I know my fault) lol

I hv been natural for about 3 1/2 yrs, but just recently started to try and take care of my hair the way I should. B4 i was just wearing wigs or weaves and braids but didn't really do the natural thing persay. I grew out all the relaxer and now my hair doesn't seem to grow anymore. If I blow it out then it is to the base of my neck but ofcourse shrinks to nothing when wet. LOL I am becoming very frustrated but I will not go back to relaxing. I need major help!

Today, I was showing my father how long my hair had grown (almost armpit length whoopie)! After 40 years of relaxers and pressing combs, I have been natural for 3 years. I mentioned to him that I was going to get it straightened this weekend. He replied, "Why? It's so beautiful the way it is. And won't straightening it damage it?" He's 78 years old and I thought that was so cute. I gave him a big hug for giving me such a boost of confidence in being a happy nappy!!!
