  • how much is a dehydrator, and where do you get 1

  • sounds a bit nasty

  • have to step back and think about this: you juiced the fruit to get "the juice" THEN you eat the pulp later on. sounds like alot of trouble...why not just eat the fruits and save yourself tons of time?

  • I think they would be better sauteed in Olive oil with a bit of cheese added!!!

  • Thank you, you can also use it in your soup. They are also good for composting.

  • Looks like sweet nugs of sour d... Yummy

  • It looks like weed

  • Soylent-green is people!

  • We bought a vitamix and now drink all the pulp. It liquefy's everything you put in it just as well as the juicer if you add a lil water and blend on high for 90 seconds. Then you get all the fiber IN THE DRINK ;)

  • I put mine through my juicer again to get the remaining juice out. I then throw the pulp away, but I have considered adding some back into the juice for the fibre.

  • @libertarian99x How much more juice do you get out the second time through?

  • God did put the fibres in so the digesting proces is slowed down so your body can take up the nutrients. By juicing and drinking that the nutrients are extracted from your body because the body needs them for complete digesting. So shortance will be in your body after a few years.

  • My chickens love it

  • @cloca63 Chickens get first dibs- goatees get the leftovers. Nothing goes to waste if you have animals.

  • Pulp, hmmm I'm from Sweden and was like what the f is pulp but now I get it! :D And I like how you don't throw food away! =) Yeeey!

  • I usually drop it in my compost to then put it on my garden. High quality compost :)

  • olive oil will make it sticky and then your blood will become sticky because of the oil...

  • @InspiRAWtion Olive oil is INCREDIBLY healthy.

  • Im pretty sure you could make felt with it if it was properly dried, it could be used to line hanging baskets instead of those awful synthetic ones You could make paper , but it is best if you can eat it, juice is good but the whole plant is more natural tend to eat more puree's/soups than juice.

  • awesome Video, Subbed! Any recommendations for Dehydrator?

  • I like to mix it into my dogs raw food mush of hamburger or meat scraps I get from the butcher.

  • the pulp has virtually no nutrition. All of it gets sucked out with the juice. also anything above 118 degrees is definitely not raw.

  • @SkylarRuloff While heat destroys a lot of vitamins, cold kills the prana/life force too. Adding ice to juice/food also kills the digestive fire ( I don't have a fridge ) also when you extract the active ingredient from a herb it becomes toxic , the remainder of the herb contains the antidote. Its fine to juice but its important to eat whole foods too. I never mix fruit and veg as the fruit ferments during digestion,( not good ) better to eat fruit 1hr b4 or 1hr after a meal

  • I think you should read "the 80/10/10 Diet" by Dr. Douglas Graham. Esp. since you're a "raw fooder"

  • cant you deep fry it like seeweed? tried it?...

  • Hey! Sorry, this has probably been asked 100 times- but which juicer do you use? I want one thats reliable, efficient and not ridiculously expensive(student!). Sorry to ask but I just don't want to just take the word of someone who's obviously trying to sell me something!

  • I don't eat eggs, but my family does, so we give the pulp to the hens. We have the healthiest hens in the neighborhhod...and the happiest!

  • WTF? Just eat vegetables people.

  • @natazer I like veggies, but having 2/+ big portions of leafy greens a day, everyday is TOUGH. Do you get that much? making smoothies (and juicing) is an easy, tasty way to do that.. and who doesn't like variety?

  • @natazer Some pple are so sick and need to only take in the vitamins etc from the juice. Plus it is so awesome and delicious!!!

  • very good idea !

  • What would happen if you tried to put this in an oven?

  • looks like weed

  • man this guy is hardcore. I usually throw away my pulp. Been juicing for 2 weeks now and ive never felt better in my entire life. I went 100 Raw vegan overnight and im loving it. I never feel hungry and i have more energy now. The 80 pounds i got to lose are starting to fall off. My fav juice is celery, cucumber, 2 apples, 1 lemon, 1 orange, a crap load of baby spinach, some carrots, and either kale or some other green as well. yummy

  • @lagoveride That seems like a lot of fruit. Isn't that a lot of sugar?

  • hmm I'm kinda new to this whole juicing thing, but couldn't you use the pulp a fertilizer in a home garden in which you grow your own fruits and veggies for your juice? forgive me if this is a stupid question..

  • @jmnnmjjmn yes, absolutely!

  • @jmnnmjjmn I do that. It works wonders for your garden :)

  • what do you do with fruit pulp

  • @TheWingedDragonOfRaw YOu could do the same thing basically. I make little dried fruit chips for camping and stuff.

  • I feed mine to my worms in the worm composting bin :) and throw the rest into the regular compost pile mostly.

  • @ArizonaAdventures Excellent! I'm getting ready to order red wigglers for my very first worm bin and I was wondering if they would like the leftover pulp. Thanks for sharing.

  • My freind uses the ninja for juicing and he says there is no plup. I would not expose my plup to heat, but thought of using it to make compost.

  • so lets see, you basically process raw food into something not healthy with oils and salt. Kinda did a full 360 ya think?

  • spread it over your loved one and have some healthy sex...

  • @SuperBillythekid

    HELL YEAH BRO !!! RAWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wonder if you can make it into some kind of soap or shampoo or body treatment or something. I dont know how but I bet it would be pretty good for hair and skin.

  • @lucyinatree We do use ours in our Soaps and Personal Care ... with abundance we fertilize our garden : )

  • I put it in the blender with some tea and sometimes additional items and blend it for a 2nd drink. I do not have a Blendtec or Vitamix so my regular blender does not get veggies quite as smooth. When you start off with juicer pulp it does very well to get closer to a high end blender. My inexpensive Oster beehive blender blender can accept different blades. Consider upgrading your regular 4 blade cutter to a 6 blade and/or Milkshake blade to get closer to a high end blender consistency.

  • @jdmcgyver

    great idea. thanks

  • it looks like veg cookies

  • Ever hear of compost?

  • @99RTN

    this stuff is expensive.

  • @99RTN Yeah dude that's what I was thinking

  • 130 degrees is too hot. it kills the enzymes. 105 to 115 is safe.

  • would like to see you take a bite. was it crunchy?? did it fall apart when you bit into it? did you smile?? would you use it like a chip to scoop avacado with?? waves~~~

  • Composte it.

  • Hey, is the nature you mentioned that is your mentor a citizen of Bastrop Texas by any chance?

  • I also forgot to mention, I'm assembling some patties right now! Great video.

  • approximately how much marijuana is in these?

  • Wow! Thanks!

  • looks like cat puke.

  • i cant stand the celery juice.... shit is nasty!

  • thats pretty cool i never thought of doing that. thanks im gana have to try that

  • What type of dehydrator are you using there?

  • Pulp from my juices contain apples ,carrot , kale and a lot all of other greens. I add in a pulp olive oil - 1/4 cup ,ground flax seeds 1/2-1 cup,big onion, water 1/8 cup spices ,and mix everything in a food-processor. Spread the mixture on a dehydrator's tray and then dehydrated it overnight. First hour like you around 130 , then turn over (my bread :) ) and leave it for the night at 105. This is the best raw bread ever :)

  • @archy0720 I'm sure the best raw bread ever is from sprouted wheat grass. Pulp left from juicing has most of the goodies removed

  • To be honest it doesn`t look so good ;/

  • take the pulp, put it in a bag, and sell it as weed to middle-schoolers.

  • @teddybeartoe Next to sticking it in the compost heap, this is probably the best idea I've heard of. HA!

  • @teddybeartoe haha thats great...

  • @teddybeartoe lol! nice...

  • or just eat the fruit normally

  • @LightTruthLove We also need fiber in our diets and that's what the pulp is. Yes a lot of other nutrients have been extracted, but in the end the pulp is still a bit moist which means there's still a bit of those leftover nutrients. After juice fasting for 10 days or whatever to give the digestive system a rest, you've missed out on fiber so these patties are a good way to gain back the fiber you didn't get during the fast.

    ramble ramble lol i'm done.

  • What I do is I dry it and then I SMOKE it . When I get too much I send some to Romania to feed the poor

  • what a brilliant idea:)))))

  • Do you ever out the pulp through your Beville juicer to extract even more juice from it? I did it today and I got a lot more juice out of it. The remaining pulp is a very small amount in comparison to just running it though once. Is this a good idea?

  • Great video. I have also done this. I didn't like the kind with celery though. Too stringy. I couldn't chew it. And the kind with cucumber tasted weird to me, but all the other kids I have made were good. I have mixed it in to make dehydrated bread type things too. My dogs also love the pulp, especially apple and carrot.

  • I been saving my pulp for my dogs raw food mix.

  • isn't going over 118ºF considered no longer raw?

  • @charliev71 Correct! It'll kill the live nutrients.

  • It's OK to dehydrate foods with a good moisture content at a higher temperature for about an hour as this does not affect enzyme activity

  • Comment removed

  • But aren't they void of any nutritional benefits because they've been juiced?

  • lol atleast they have fiber in it.

  • Great idea!

  • Look at you baby!!!

  • thanks so much for this! :)

  • Beautiful man, just beautiful.
