  • I have tryed the e.l.f waterproof eyeliner pen, and made a review of it, and a few other e.l.f cosmetics, and I had great luck with the eyeliner pen, & also some of the e.l.f. Studio Brushes. Not sure if you are interested in any of that or not, but if so, I'd love for you to check out my channel, and my review(s). Feel free to comment/suggest/subscribe. :) THANKS AGAIN<3

  • I like your review, I found it to be helplful, I live i the U.S, so I do have access to manny different cosmetics, & brands. I'm sorry to hear that you havent been so fortunate where you are... But anyways, I've just recently been trying some of the "e.l.f" Makeup Brushes, and have tryed a few of there cosmetics. I almost purchaced the Black, e.l.f Mineral Eye liner tonight, and now after watching your review Im not dissapointed that I didn't get it. lol Thanks so much! Great Job<3 -blondie6490

  • the lighting kind of has more of a blue tone to it... I think it would work better if you had a yellow lamp or some kind of a bulb that had some yellow undertone to it. That would warm up the colors on your face. I appreciate the review, though - a lot of elf products are either hit or miss. Seems to be that this was a miss completely!

  • @erinpickering Hmm, a buld with yellow undertones just wouldn't show the colours as true as a daylight bulb. I've used a yellower bulb before and the effect just isn't good. I am planning on getting some cream fabric as soon as I can get to a fabric shop which might solve the hrsh lighting issue.

  • It would be nice to see you in front of a colourful background of some sort - I find the white wall a bit harsh Everything else is great! Very helpful as always. .

  • @GreenDani18 This was just to see if it worked :) What colour would you suggest? I agree the white is a bit harsh but I'm not sure what colour would work. Maybe cream fabric would soften the look. I don't have a fabric shop nearby so I'll have to wait before getting some new background.

  • @Sirvinya Oh of course, it was a trial I know, and I hope you didn't feel you had to go and buy a metre of fabric instantly, lol, just wait for the January sales for that. I actually see a bit of muslin or a creamy fabric like you say just to offset the stark area or even a fun poster to jazz it up a bit. All the best xx.

  • @Sirvinya I think something like cream/ very pale would be best; if you use a stronger colour it might mess with the colour balance on your camera and/or detract the attention away from you! :)

  • i shall try the Milani pencil first then, thanks for the review. This is a nice set up :)

  • @pinkblackwitch Thanks! I think I've got a couple of Milani liners to review.

  • I like the new location! Thanks for the review!

  • @Ashmoe418 Thanks!

  • love the setup!

  • @goldfishblowfish Thanks!

  • Big thumbs up for this setup. :-)

  • Like the new set up :) I think it'll be a lot easier for you to show colours/swatches and have them show up easier/true to colour because of the plain white background :) x

  • @phsycotikcookie Thanks!

  • why would there be a sharpener provided with them? you said they were twist ups :S

  • @iLoveYouCompletely Some twist up liners have a sharpener stuck in at the end, just to keep the liner pointy :) Laura Geller twist up liners come with one.

  • I like this set up :)

  • @YoungPrettyThings Thanks!

  • Like the new set up :-)

  • @sarahbee27 Thanks!

  • Thank you for a great review. Saved me some money. Great videos!! Have a lovely day.

  • @msloveforlife1 Thanks!

  • I love the new set up.. the old one looked like a sheet that was just draped. oh, and thank you for your review.

  • @rxmakeupqueen Thanks! I did have a sheet draped over my bookcases :)

  • Big fan of the new setup Becky!

Nice review too. Glad I never picked these up. I have a hard enough time keeping eyeliners on my waterline/lashlines...

  • @XxAutumnakixX Thanks! There are plenty of other good liners out there :)

  • thanks for the info. Have a great day.

  • @Tonks1967 thanks

  • I realy pefer this setup! =)

  • @LibbyLiveMusic same here!

  • Great setup! :)

  • @RIII1985 Thanks :)

  • I think it would look a little better with some kind of backdrop because it's a little too bright to me. It kinda looks like the dream sequence in a movie where everything is a little too bright but also kind of washed out....if that made any sense at all. Do you know what I mean? Maybe something behind you a couple shades darker would help the lighting of the video a little, at least for me. But everything else was fine (sound and camera positioning) Hope this made sense! lol.

  • @asielle I was thinking about getting some fabric for a backdrop but for now this is an improvement :)

  • @Sirvinya Yuop I agree!! DEFINITELYYY an improvement lol. :)

  • You think these would work better as an e/s base?

  • @fierceincluded I think they'd crease and smear within 10 minutes to be honest!

  • I like this setup.

  • @HairandMakeup87 thanks!

  • i like the setup. lighting is definitely better!

  • @BuzzyBeeBee93 I agree, the lighting is good :)

  • i think you should use this setup =)

  • @devonbluestar I prefer it :)
