It's interesting how something so simple looking can look so pretty. I need to start learning more about particle effects. If I may ask, how did you make the lines "pulse"? Do you have any nice resources for learning about particle systems and effects? Thanks and great video. :D
@captainjeremy cool! More impressive than mine as its in html5 :) I know the idea isn't super original I actually got the idea from one of the toys in the DS game 'Electro Plankton' I was planning on developing it further into more of a game than a toy but we'll see how time permits
- Would be great if the lenght of the line could determine the note, so you can purposely create melodies.
- Would be great if you can place 'destroy boxes' that destroy the particles so you can end the melody
- Would be awesome if you can place multiple spawn points so you can create harmonies. If those spawn points could spawn in a different speed (1/4 notes, 1/8, 1/16, etc) this would become one awesome musical feast that's very addictive.
@TornadoTwins thanks tornado twins some good idaes there! I did initially have it as the length of the line determines the pitch but for the sake of the video I just randomized it as it was more interesting
This is incredible! :)

Neat. That's remarkably similar to the BallDroppings ChromeExperiment (sorry I can't post a link in the comment, it's a quick google away though :) )

Did some thinking on it, perhaps it's helpful:
