  • thats looks the same as a normal braid............

  • thats how i braid normally

  • It only makes a difference if you do a french braid because a reverse braid sits on top of the head, rather than tucking under. I think it's called a dutch braid.

  • ur doing a normal braid... just more complicated?! o.O

  • haha lol

  • hahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • beautiful gals!

  • Is there really a noticable difference between the reverse braid and a regular braid? If someone did that to their hair, my first thought when I saw it would not be, "Wow! What a nice REVERSE braid!"

  • yea, i know what you mean, but it's good to know the difference because it makes a french braid look different

  • I suppose, but I think expertvillage actually has another video for making that type of french braid (I can't remember what it's called right now).

  • it's a dutch braid. basically the braid sits on tops of your hair and isn't 'in' your hair.

  • @BioChemMaj13 No, not normally, but there IS a really big difference between a reverse FRENCH braid. They look very different.

  • reverse uh?? culdnt u just braid someones hair upside down?? lol

  • NOt under,not under!

  • it looks exactly the same as the up braid wats the use

  • The pattern of the braid is reversed. In the standard braid, the diagonals run downward, pointing at the tip. In the reverse braid, they angle toward the head. It's subtle, but it is different. It also creates different tension, causing the braid to curl in the opposite direction dependent on how tight it is.

  • nice long hair

  • my hands have memory?

  • Actually, yes. Often called "muscle memory" or "skill memory", learned manual skills are learned independently of facts and events. This is why Alzheimer's patience often forget who their own children are but they don't forget how to drive, play instruments, ride bikes, etc.

  • @self Omgfail. "patience" should be "patients" heh... I am way too tired.

  • She mean muscle memory!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAA this is nothing new to me

I already do it this way (20 years now ) LOL ;)

  • ... Okay? The technique is thousands of years old just like most other braiding techniques. It's simply less common these days, so it's nice to see someone spreading the ideas.

  • WHY UNDER??????? Up Up Up!!!

  • Yeah why under??

Its l8ike the same exact thing to do it over. But COol video
