I flew once on Northwest and I loved it but Delta gets Northwest's 747s and they look cool in the new Delta livery. Delta will now have a lot of different planes. The old northwest colors (Gray and Red) weren't cool at all... But the new colors (Silver and Red) are really neat... To bad for Northwest. Wish they had stayed. Will always remember my flight on an A320 with Northwest. Too bad they are gone. Bye Bye!!!!

I do have to say, I am kinda happy NWA is gone, Maybe delta will train the flight attendants better. The reason why I say this is, I was on a NWA flight. On a 747 we took off, I looked at door 3L and it was not armed (meaning the slide wouldn't work) I called the flight attendant and she came to me and said, "what do you need" in a rude manner. I said I would feel safer if you armed your door! She said it was, I said I'm a flight attendant, I showed her on the door where it said "dis-Armed"

Was based in DTW and was put back on reserve and wasn't willing to be on call anymore so I finally called scheduling and told them I resign. I did get to see the world for free but it just wasn't for me. In the end was only there for the money and that is a job that you have to enjoy, if your in it for the money I found that it doesn't work out.

I was young and ignorant of the world. It seemed so glamorours, it wasn't. I can say though without NWA I would have never met my BF or lived in Hawaii but it was hell getting there. I've learned though, and now won't do any job that is customer service; live and learn I guess.

Let's get something str8. Delta didn't BUY NW. It was a merger set up by Hedge Funds that owned BOTH of them.

They ONLY reason the DETLA named survived was because it was so poorly managed that it had a $9.1Billion tax credit fro Bankruptcy that could not be carried over to a NEW company...like NW, NEW Delta is run by NW management.

NW was superior to Delta in every way operationally, financially. Northwest employees got robbed. That's how crooked companies in the US operate.

The first time I flew on Northwest Airlines was in 1998 when I went home to the Philippines. I received such wonderful customer service. The customer service agents and flight attendants were so friendly and helpful. Since than my dream was to work as a flight atendant for Northwest Airlines. Although Today, I am now working at Northwest not as a flight attendant but customer service and I love it. I am going to miss "the red tail" but forever always remember Northwest...I love you NWA!!!
