  • Europe is REARMING ITSELF to the peril of America/Britain! We are standing helplessly by and watching it happen! Shame on us and what a pity we neither have the WILL or DESIRE to stop this from happening due to our moral drifting away from our God-given Roles as Leaders of the once-free world! History WILL repeat itself and THIS time, Europe will be on TOP on the world scene...with dire results for all English-Speaking Nations...God save us yet.

  • The european parliament will soon burn, along with that stupid illuminati symbol they use.

  • the EU is a good thing becase that would mean no war. i also beeleve in a one world goverment and cashless sosiety becase then every one woud know there place and live in peece

  • @PICKUPMYSOAP ok tie a rope around your neck and tell someone they can hold it forever then!

  • @PICKUPMYSOAP You watch too much star treck ... how could there ever be a one world government when there is

    Religion / Greed / Nepotism

the list is endless and peace has no profit

  • Best way to beat the EU if your a British citizen is to vote either UKIP or BNP .... this will cause britain to leave the EU

  • @antipike UKIP are nationalist fakes, they do not want to leave the EU, they only want to 'reform' it

  • This is exactly what is happening in every country on the planet. The politicians in every country must realize they are being setup. The people of this world are having all rights taken away to a extreme end. This is exactly what is happening in the United states also.

  • @mjs1231 Yep zionism is winning big time. look up the protocols of the elders of zion on youtube. And google waters flowing eastward- you can read it online it explains everything!

  • we voted no they didnt get the right answer so they made us vote again

  • The President of the european union is not the leader of the eu. It´s the zionist jews. As hard and anti-semitic it may sound for some, it´s the truth!

The commissioners know, if they turn their back on the european superstate, the jews will cripple europa with their banks. It´s just gangsters threatening the countries of the eu with poisoness financial bullets

But on the other hand the bankers are bringing one country after the other to it´s knees, to have the right taking votingrights away

  • Greece first - Ireland second - Portugal third - Spain fourth - Italy 5th, then the whole of E U economies fall like a line of dominoes & all whilst we have an unelected EU leader in charge.

I defy anybody of intellect to do some in-depth research & give me one valid reason why we are not heading for a totalitarian run Soviet States of Europe !

  • The average EU minister in Brussels takes home 30,000 Euros/months, excluding travel and transportation. The virtually have their coffee breaks in Paris, the shopping trips in Amsterdam, and their fund managers in Frankfurt and London. Britian and Ireland must send more people to Brussel in order to garantuee an equillibrium, otherwise the French and Germans and Dutch etc. will do whatever they want.

  • Long live Jens Peter Bonde he was a good man to have in the EU Parliament :-)

    Fuck EU from Denmark

Thanks a lot for posting this video:-)

  • Imagine you are at a restaurant and the only choice on the menu is dog feaces or cat feaces. Either way the only thing you can order is feaces. That is my analogy of democracy.

Goodbye and enjoy your time in the herd.

  • In truth what is happening is far too unbelievable for the vast majority of Europeans. Without the slightest doubt we are heading for a quasi Communist-Fascist super state, run by an unelected leader. Today no 1 single EU countries laws can over ride EU law. More & more EU embassies are quietly opening up worldwide without the masses having the slightest idea (or concern). Our banks are governed by one elite sector who have bribed EU leaders allowing them total control & power. ZIONISM anyone ?

  • Whats there to expose lol? Its not like EVERYONE said that i was basically the same thing as the European Constitution. Being an ignorant and then claiming that everything is a one big conspiracy is really retarded.

  • this is how obama brought national health to america. He simply refused to allow people to see the bill and then demanded that congress pass the bill against the will of the people.I mean,is this america or is it the belgian congo.Obama should go back there and just disappear.

  • Any jobs Ireland gets are destoryed by the trade unions anyway!

  • Failed politicians every single one of them

  • Terrorist = anyone who opposes the new world order....... to see the cage is to escape the cage.....

  • @thedyer1971 Well, terrorist-Anyone who opposes Rome and the UK.

Forget about "opposing". You should be free and independant.

  • Ireland Voted yes because of FEAR propaganda!

They told us if they didnt vote yes more jobs would have been lost and how we would have been isolated from European Community and Trade

  • @TheBoosht Here is the deal... who cares about jobs?

They will move big manufacturing industry to Ireland complete with trade unions. After this, you will have a mortgaged house (which will keep you working for fear of losing it) After this they will apply social pressures to make sure you spend and stay in debt, introduce a fiat currency

  • Go Ireland! Be our beacon of hope! Salute from Croatia.

  • NOW the positioned chest pieces are on the move and you can see governments around the world moving to a centarlised health care, government, utilities, super fund and POLICE STATE = GESTAPO = FASCISM = COMMUNISM = DICTATORSHIP. May G-d help us ALL. Their planning another HOLOCUST!

  • @GoodBabylonian Probably. This is what the Nazi wasn't allowed to do. It's ok so long as Rome and Britain want to do this. These people are international LABOR THEIVES and CARTELS. They have about 50 percent of America by the Balls.

  • The romans empire has XXX coins symbolising the MARK OF THE BEAST. This correlates to the ISO 4217 currency code XXX. Guess what city of London on clave is the trading capital of the world. 2012 XXX Olympics and teh EU request from ICANN to have .XXX as their domain name. this is TOO MUCH!

  • Symbol of fascism is tied up reeds with an axe attached and the eagle. These symbols come from the Pharoahs, Roman Empire, german REICH and are in the US congress building. The Roman legion XXX was the state which is now england. The symbols of the UK euro fighter has XXX markings all over it. The oldest UK squadron 29 is the XXX squadron. The special UK forces in WW1 were called the XXX.

  • Lisbon treaty = EU = NEW revived Fascist Roman Empire. What is missing is the CEASAR. Wiki foreign exchange ISO 4217 standards and you will see the centralised monetry system that controls the world and its armies. You will also see the no currency or electronic money code that is XXX or 999. this coinsides with the 2012 XXX Olympics held in London which is the mission accomplish date.

  • @GoodBabylonian She's livin deliciously. hahaha. Off of our labor of course.

  • We must claim our sovereignty or submit to totalitarianism. Look up CFR Sovereignty. "Moreover, states must be prepared to cede some sovereignty to world bodies if the international system is to function." This also means that said state's citizens will likely be who it influences. CFR members dominate the Congress in the U.S. and this past election we were to choose between Obama (CFR) or McCain (CFR). NAU is on the move.

  • @brettdusek We need to start understanding sovereignty and common law. Their globalization requires our ignorance and our inability to interpret the current law. We blindly enter into contracts with them that gives them the ability to enforce statutes on us, enslave us and tell us what we owe. We are human, they are human, and no matter what we will always be equal. Don't think they need to break the law. Its on their side, the trick is to have it on your side. Look up Robert Menard.

  • Remember that our EU masters couldn't have foisted their new dictatorship without help. Latterly Labour help, a party more treasonous than even the Tories for landing us in a fully-fledged federal European Bastardstate.

But people are waking up, not with just a little help from the Web.

Click my username or paste title into bar: THINGS CAN ONLY GET LABOUR - WHY THE 'PC' QUISLINGS WILL LOSE THE NEXT ELECTION (SPEECH)

  • Thanks to the EU-

Our Irish National day has become a National Farce!

    watch?v=T8KIwIcAQok

  • The European Union is spiralling into debt, with mammoth fraud and incompetence trashing the EU inside and out.

But that won't stop EU penpushers holding member states to ransom by taking them to court to snatch their multi-million Pound wage claims!

Insert title into the bar: EPIDEMIC EU FRAUD AND DEBT NO BARRIER TO EUROCRAT WAGE CLAIMS!

  • USA is a 230 year old country you dumbass, and you comparing it to the eu is just as ignorant as you calling the USA fucked up. How about a thank you for giving Europe the money to rebuild after you destroyed yourselves after WWII.

  • @NJRocks281

Woah, slow down, chap. Americans are nothing more than Europeans and Africans living over the ocean, now isn't that true?

EU should not be compared to USA, that's true. What we are facing here, is that Europe has always had some weird need for creating an Empire that could rule over all national cultures and mix them under one power...

    Pity.

  • @NJRocks281 Thanks, we just finished re-paying after 60 years.

  • angreed the usa helped anormously the war efford But who's money was it they loaned us the FED's the Private bank that has the exclusive right to print paper money at will based on FA reserves But all americans Must trade their goods n services on a currency based on FA yes they fucked up the usa they Print money at will the moment oil is sold in euros the $ is dead u think a country like the us could be broke? with their huge industry

  • oil is not traded in euro's bud, and after Greeks economic problems the euro has fallen against the dollar.

  • @NJRocks281 Keep in mind that many of our own US corporations helped fuel the Nazi movement and others helped put it down.

KugelblitzEST is right, we are all descendants of a great diversity of people. As Americans we truly believe in freedom and sovereignty even though we blindly lose it. However, as long as we keep teaching our children what freedom means, we can have hope.

We must all use the knowledge that is available and fight back with intellect, courage, and most of all peace.

  • Oh really? name 10 of those evil corporations I dare you.

  • Today the treaty is made. Besides speculation, what real big things would take place? And should I be afraid? o_O

  • We Dutch still want our referendum. I think 90% of the Dutch don't know who's the president of the EU. Never the less, EU makes 85% of the rules with that treaty.

  • peoples will rise and ww3 will begin!! i for 1 will not be ruled by others other than my own!

  • That's exactly the way it ought to be!

  • Didn't our forefathers fight the Nazis to stop this sort of thing happening?

  • It is kind of sad that what could not be implemented by force, now is between implemented little by little with subtle and misleading politics.

It reminds of the Frog Analogy; if you put a Frog in a pot of boiling water the frog immediately jumps out. But if you put that same Frog in the pot while the water is cool and slowly increase the temperature of the pot until water starts to boil, the Frog never knew what hit him.

The Centralization of Power only leads to tyranny.

  • This would be a direct insult to the men and women who died for that very reason, what is the difference between The European Union and Nazi Germany? This basically says they died for nothing! Unforgivable!

  • @burnzgotshot Yeah, it's all terrible unless Italy, Rome and Britain agree on something. They will move big buisness to Ireland and expolit irelands of it's labor and keep them working by a mortgage. The threat of being called homeless will keep them manufacturing 60 hrs a week, having those goods being exported and having a fiat currency to pay the mortgage. HIDEOUS.

  • @WorstDecadeInHistory Its an insidious global takeover. If you want to know more about it I would suggest you watch 'the money masters' and the films zietgeist make. Democracy is a charade and they blind us with consumer goods, television and as you say the threat of losing a job, home etc... However I dont think it is confined to Ireland. It is global.

  • @burnzgotshot or was it the nazis forefathers fought us to stop this from happening..democracy is a smoke screen, we're still under a fascist regime only a less outspoken or covert one

  • @burnzgotshot I dont think the nazi's were as democratic as the union, so no, not at all.

  • @Tomsanbomsi The Nazi's were much more open about their intentions than these insidious bastards. Democracy is a cynical charade anyway.

  • @burnzgotshot exactly, this is nothing like the nazi's then

  • @Tomsanbomsi No. The Nazi's are still here but they are under different names. The only difference is that there is not a race of people who have what they want and need to be exterminated so that they cannot ask for it back. I'm not sure what their aims are, pharmaceuticals I think. Watch this space anyway.

  • @burnzgotshot wow ... i rly think u need help if u think these ppl r nazis :S

  • @Tomsanbomsi I think you need to wake up. These people aint' benevolent philanthropists. They are sociapathic monsters controlled by global finance and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Give it another decade (if that) and they will make their intentions clear.

  • @burnzgotshot ok, you've got 10 years, and then YOU'LL see that EU will become a superstate and that they wont make their "intentions" clear -.-

  • @Tomsanbomsi Your right there. They will never reveal what their plans are. Have you ever read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley? Read that novel and tell me that we are not heading to that scenario.

  • @burnzgotshot It just amazes me that everytime germans do something, or the oppositions gets mad its always a "conspiration" or they have bad "intentions" with every step. its pathetic.

The people voted for them to do what they want, and thats what they do

  • @Tomsanbomsi I dont think you understand what I mean.

  • @burnzgotshot congratulations for understanding THAT

  • @Tomsanbomsi European democracy is a sham.

  • @burnzgotshot obviously not since everything that happens is decided by democraticly chosen men and women.

To change all of EU just because a minor group is dissatisfied is undemocratic.

  • @Tomsanbomsi Enjoy your sleep.

  • @burnzgotshot i never close my eyes to politics like some ppl seem to do here

  • @burnzgotshot thats exactly the point . the world believes with the end of ww2 the nazis vanished from this planet and exactly the opposite is the case , they are in power and stronger then they ever where , right now they reach out for a one world gov.

  • @GonG108 The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist or in this case that he was defeated. The Nazis, the Soviets and their handlers/financial backers are still here all right but they are operating in a more clandestine way. I wish people would wake up. I feel like a turkey in a broiler house in November who knows what's coming and I want to get out.

  • @burnzgotshot yes , then do it just do it express your mind your thoughts through the internet do videos like a blog ( i did it the last two years and made 217 videos on that way , right now i got them private because i want to make new ones which nails the issue more exactly ) , but i think this is the best way to tell what you think and believe and to join a world wide diskussion about it this is the waking up and this is the reason why the U.S. is so mad for restricting the internet

  • @GonG108 I agree the spread and sharing of information on the internet is important and a usefull way to educate youself on these matters. What concerns me is there just isn't enough people becoming aware of what is happening. They just seem to do their jobs, pay tax and consume goods. If I talk to these people about some of the stuff I've researched they call me a conspiracy nut and go back to talking about football, sex, TV and how amazing the latest cellphone is. Pisses me off sometimes.

  • @burnzgotshot your not alone there, not many people i try and explain as to what's going on look at me like i'm mad, most people dont want to know cuase they still believe the media bullshit and think our governments are working for us, we no longer have public servants, all our councils, police forces (IBM own cornwall and devon police),health trusts, are corporate entity's there for profit, the EU spends millions indoctrinating our children into believing the EU is a good and democratic entity

  • @burnzgotshot our key weapon is right here the possibility to broadcast directly into the living room of your audience world wide this is the ultimate tool for propaganda, remember the efforts which where made to publish something and reach the average man , now you can do that and we are still free to say whats true , this will not go on for ever i´m sure they will find a way to put an end on it , thatswhy time is running out we need to use the time remaining as good as we all can

  • @GonG108 this is my personal believe , its like in the bible written help youself and god wil help you , we are the tools through which he can act ( i´m sure he has other ways too but i also believe in universal law which is responsible for the balance ,for the on going of our self made reality for our souls to learn . the nwo trys to block the free energy float ( you can see that in the brittish passport there are the seven chakras of a human covered on both sides with an pentagramm downwards

  • @burnzgotshot Yes, of course, but they forgot to tell you that evil will always rise again in a new form until it is finally destroyed on judgement day.

  • That's the problem. They are unable to read it, and therefore, they are unable to understand what changes this treaty will hold. That's why people hate it. And then, there came a voting system that doesn't hear the opinions of everyone. All these become the political leaders' business, and less from us. Why would they pushed a treaty that is almost impossible to be comprehended, and rush us into supporting this treaty? Something is not right!

  • One important change this Treaty will make (since it soon comes into Law) will be the power of one EU member state to veto decisions effecting the EU. It will be decided only by popular vote which in effect gives the EU more power then the EU states.

I can see Europe breaking up if it continues to operate in this way. At the end of the day its down to the people and when the people realise their nationality has been put into single nationality I think changes back will occur.

  • the lisbon treaty is just amenments to other things it can,t be read

  • What IS wrong with the Treaty

Loads of people hate it but haven't even read it....

  • i'm pretty sure it's bad news, but i'd like to know too, but i don't know how to find out whats in it

  • How about reading it ? It,s avalaible on the EU site.

  • because decoding legal speak is hard

  • It's time for all people world wide to unite and kick all the rats out of all governments. The people of the world can unite. We all would be very surprised I'm sure, without all the hype given to the people by the corresponding government just how much we are the same. I don't know of anyone single country or people that does not want peace, or that are not looking to get along. It's only the hype by those in Office that spread the B.S. that keeps them in power and it's people in bondage.

  • i agree with you ... lets start the movement ..

  • it was rigged fuking biffo cunt

  • cant believe it was a yes vote in ireland.we were betrayed and no1 cares about us cause weve no power.its a shame

  • Comment removed

  • dear people, if you don't want the treaty, theres a petition online to support klaus, he's the last one that didn't sign the treaty, you can find the link on my youtube-page in the comments section. i can't place it here.

i don't know if it will help, but if more people tell him, maybe he won't sign the lisbon betrayel...

  • Other countries voted no but they were ignored,Some including England did not even get a vote, they wont listen or accept anyone dissagreeing with them, we will all pay the price as Freedom will be a thing of the past, freedom hard won by our ancesters. The Big wigs who formed this superstate are power hungry and in it to line their own pockets.I just hope Farady can do something about it before its too late!!

  • No to Lisbon now and always. No surrender to the elite of the EU. Yes to democracy.

  • Yes for (politicians) jobs?

"Aer Lingus has laid people off today, Intel, which spent €400,000 campaigning for a Yes, laid off 300 today and 1,500 jobs have gone since Saturday,

The only jobs saved are those of politicians."

Mr Farage, who played a prominent role in the referendum campaign, said Irish people were bullied into voting Yes "What happened in Ireland was that they got littlest boy in the playground & put him in the corner and given him a good kicking,"

    (Irish Times, 8 Oct 2009)

  • You fools you have no idea whats coming , Ireland for instance, will no longer be able even to hold a referendum on increased EU central powers . You all deserve everything thats coming down the pipe .

  • What's coming is the the United Soviet States of Europe...The commies have already hijacked amerika so no one will come running as moscow comes to put europe in it's place. :)

And yes, ESPECIALLY western europe deserves it, since they have a short memory of history.....the richer they are, the higher you stack their corpses!

  • the new world order is coming... those motherfuckers will implant RFID chips in peolple's bodies so that they can control our every movement and make us become cyborg slaves to the financial elite

  • man its getting bad the unitedstates says iran can now make a atom bomb and milk farmers are going out of bussiness ,a food crsis could be around the corner i just hope the world does,nt under go a depression and another war the elites seem to be playing their final cards

  • "Those who would give up essential LIBERTY, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither and will LOSE both." - Benjamen Franklin.

  • Fuck Liberty. It's useless. Only slaves need Liberty ;)

  • Fuck the UK! GO MUSLIMS! CLAIM IT AS YOUR TURF! WE'VE ENOUGH OF THESE IMPERIALIST ANGLO-TRASH LUNATICS! WE WONT COME RUNNING TO THEIR RESCUE! ALLAHU AKBAR!

  • LOL i doubt 1.5 million muslims, who live in a population of 68 million non- muslims can claim it as their "TURF".

  • Larger empires have been conquer by smaller minorities, just look at how the jews are doing. :)

  • Muslims aren't that smart : )

  • and english are? lol

  • What??? Read back to what you wrote, and you'll see you just proved my point lol.

  • yes

  • I would love to hear your justification (if any) for that statement

  • Well if you read the whole argument i was having, you would see the "justification".

  • u don't know what u talk about prick

  • If an organizer of a sports event insisted on a rematch each time their favorite side lost it would be considered crooked. Why is this type of practice considered acceptable for the Lisbon Treaty whenever the futures and lives of almost 500 million Europeans will be affected? The Treaty Preamble tells us that it is created with 'a view to enhancing the efficiency and democratic legitimacy of the Union' yet to bring it into force requires twisting democracy to the sheer limits of its legitimacy.

  • Perhaps your rhetoric could do with a bit of an overhaul and in my opinon so could your rationale.

  • Now they can bring about their New World Order, no will have rights, look at whats happening to America where next.

  • u cannot say people were scared but manipulated. Bussinesses were promised funds from higher up if they invest in a yes vote. I feel bad for irish people. Im romanian and i live in dublin yet i voted no. It means another continental empire which will only intimidate asians which will force upon an asian union then the battle beggins..the world is overpopulated already.we are waste products and we are intoxicating our own earth...think....y is our history so short.remember a similar story babylon

  • I'm all for it; after 2,000 years Europe is becoming unified again. This time in Brussels instead of Rome.

  • the european union will go the same way as the soviet union , corrupt and doomed to fail

  • The people are NOT afraid. The people voted NO. The whole fucking thing is rigged and it will never be proven.

  • I thought they would vote Yes the second time around. All the propaganda, all the politicians saying how the country would basically be left behind if the people voted no, the current economic situation and everything the people felt they would loose if they voted no (in terms of all the money they have got from the EU in the past not being there in the future) and you don't think thousands voted Yes out of fear?REALLY?

  • 70% for YES? I can't believe!

  • Did everyone pass it? I for one will never believe it...

Go to Coir Campaign's website (they intended to monitor the accuracy of the polls) and find, in the press releases, the article "Cóir cry foul as Dublin City Sheriff threatens arrest if citizens monitor Lisbon referendum"

  • Long live the Euopean Union, we have indeed passed a milestone with the Yes vote of 67%. Everyone has passed it. Roll on the President of the E.U .

  • i honestly belived on a second NO vote from the irish... the banksters must have payed of alot of people to pull this yes vote off. how can it be that it got a yes now when its to the letter the same treaty as it was on the first vote? either its vote fruad or alot of people got paid to vote yes. me thinks its fraud.

  • people were scared, it's not hard to understand why people voted yes. it's just a shame that those people along with the ones who voted no did not understand it.

  • well, we're fucked

  • Congratulations to the thick Irish people. It looks like you've let all of the people of europe down by voting yes this time even though you were forced to revote on the exact same treaty. Well done morons

  • And you're in the US - F**k Off and mind your own business.

  • robert99999, don't mind him, hes just looking for attenion cos he wasn't hugged as a child

  • The only country that held a referendum is thick? The people from the other 26 member states in the EU are not even putting up a fight to hold a referendum in the first place. The Irish were uneducated and I bet so are the rest of the countries in the EU if it came to them voting on the treaty. However, putting all the blame on Ireland is ignorant of the other EU members ignorance.

  • no other member country's people in eu know what the treaty is about.this is what the banksters want. we in sweden wasnt told jack shit about it, only what was heard in the media that its good and we need it. what the hell does the media know? they r only repeaters reading from a teleprompter, they dont know shit, the banksters OWN the media and its NOT a conspiracy theory, its FACT... read from multiple sources and make up ur mind and ull see its the banksters thats ruling the world

  • Its nothing to do with the irish people being think, they have always fought for whats right. Ireland also have members who are part of the illuminati, it was more than likely rigged. I know the Irish people they would never under normal circumstances sell out to the incoming New World Order. Ignorance is a pittyful mind state.

  • Your not making any sense

Thats a direct quote from the Commission President... not an opinion?

    Heres another:

"The European Commission are intensely aware that if Mr Blair takes the job, which does not require a popular election or vote, the EU will never be the same again. Power will shift irrevocably to the Council of the EU, which represents national governments and lead to the creation of Europe as continental bloc to rival the United States and China"

    - Telegraph, 5 hours ago!

    Vote No!

  • "The Constitution is the capstone of a European Federal State."

    - Guy Verhofstadt, Belgian Prime Minister, Financial Times.

"Are we all clear that we want to build something that can aspire to be a world power? In other words, not just a trading bloc but a political entity. Do we realise that our nation states, taken individually would find it far more difficult to assert their existence and their identity on the world stage."

    - Commission President Romano Prodi, EU Parliament.

    Eire: Vote No!

  • But we're voting YES this time around.

We heard the same cries of Armageddon (from NototheNWO) before the Amsterdam, Nice and Maastricht referenda. And what happened to Ireland? Nothing negative.

Our roads improved thanks to EU money. Airfares fell in price because of EU Competition Policy. And, when the sh*t hit the fan with our banks, who saved us? The European Central Bank, an EU institution. So, enough whinging and negativity. Time to say YES...unequivocally to our European neighbours.

  • The least the EU could do was help your Banks after destroying them. The U.S. isn't the only place with greedy people. Now that you've seen what you think is the good side, wait till you see the bad. They wouldn't be doing this if they didn't have anything to gain.

  • It's clear the direction the EU is heading in terms of centralizing the power of its member states. If you like this idea and everything else the treaty has in store for you, then yeah, great, the extra money you scrap in from the EU would be all worth it. Once again you can be ruled my a greater nation, bet the Irish people will be proud of that, but if this happens I'm not sure how much I will respect them any more to be honest.

  • I'm not interested in your respect, to be honest. I want Ireland to be part of a more closely integrated European project. Up to now, we've always punched well above our weight in Europe. I have no doubt that we will continue to play a dynamic and effective role in the EU.

  • are u a monnet professor or what? i dont think ive ever met such a naive person in my life. the eu is effectively controlled in a top down manner by 27 unelected bureaucrats. dynamic role? what are u on? really its 27 people on first name terms dictating pretty much everything we can do. grow a brain please and stop with such unfiltered eu horseshit.

  • When the cohesion funds were being distributed more than a decade ago, IRL punched well above its weight at an EU level and secured a much better (pro rata) deal financially for its citizens than either Spain or Greece. Our civil servants and diplomats have been securing favourable treatment for Ireland for almost four decades. The Commission is one of a triptych of Commission, Council of Ministers and European Parliament. It pays to remember this and the 67.1% yes vote and near 60% turnout.

  • There seems to be an inability, on your part, to understand that the Council of Ministers (the representative body for the various Ministers from the different Member States) has much more clout than the Commission and calls the shots(with, to a lesser extent, the Euro Parliament) when it comes to decision-making at EU level. So, when Margaret Thatcher wanted budget refunds, she was able to use the Council of Ministers as a forum within which to overrule the Commission's plans in this regard.

  • 1957, yes it pays u im sure. like the minister will veto (where they have a veto) anything that was ok'ed by the commissioner? yeah right. its only an appearance of a triptych. 2 more people involved but everything is agreed between this "old" boys club beforehand.and thats what it is make no mistake. the vote for or against this treaty does not make how the institution works any more democratic. u do understand this even though it was a nice attempt at spin.

  • urfadder, remember this day when ur filing ur European federal taxes each year. make sure u get them in on time like a good federalist!

  • Golden Rose, Queen of Ireland

All my cares and troubles cease

I VOTE NO LISBON, YES POWERFUL ROSARY!

  • The bishops of Ireland say VOTE YES. COIR is above the bishops I suppose???

  • Comment removed

  • YES vote = no way back, we can't undo mistakes made in the treaty or the EU, our say in EU is halved. Some countries say is doubled.

NO vote = we are still in the EU, like we are now, and the EU must be more accountable to the people of Europe. It stops the runaway power of the EU parliament and its gravy train expenses.

The mature thing is to stand up and tell EU to correct the problems, not to give in to the accusing tut-tutting of EU politicians trying to tell us we should be embarrassed.

  • VOTE NO!

    SAVE OUR SOULS!

    SAVE THE FUTURE!

IRELAND CAN HELP THE REST OF THE EU! I am from germany, we even don´t have a chance for a referendum...... therefore IRELAND PLEASE PLEASE HELP US AND SPREAD OUR WISHES AND WORDS!

    VOTE NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    thank you all ....

  • I will do my best to save ye all!

  • I WILL BE VOTING NO

  • Me too brother. let's go out fighting!
