  • so that was pretty useless. get me get this straight: to grow strawberries, you need to put them in a pot, water them, and make sure they get plenty of sun? wow! i would have never known that had I not watched this video! i was hoping for some details on growing them INDOORS.

  • that is the worst planting job i have ever seen, its a wonder any of your plants survive.

  • Please tell me this woman isn't breeding. If she raises children they way she tries to raise plants, it's all gonna end in tears.

  • Moron. Absolute moron.

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • "throw it in the shower here or there"..is this chick for real?

  • That has to be the worst planting job ever. She straight manhandles those poor baby plants.

  • Now the strawberries are a fruit just like a any other fruit

  • maybe was bettere if you used a pair of gloves

  • "Put it in the room that has the most moisture..."

  • All your videos are kind of useless. Commonsense. So I just put the strawberry in a pot and leave it near the window? LOL

  • Summary:

Put strawberry plant in pot and let the sun shine on it.

Was it necessary to do a how to video on that?

  • i stumbled upon this! lol :P

  • wtf your like the worst plant treater ever!!!! how do you even know what they want or not? my freakin Farming Level is 99. foo, look me up in Runescape!

  • what about if i live in California can i still put in near a window??

  • 0:34 - 0:50 Take it easy, no need to beat the little plants to death

  • @MrGameAndWatch00000 she beats her meat and mashes her potatoes like that... just observing.

  • Id like to see you slug garden girl in the mouth. Thank you for your wonderful video.

  • i bought some strawberry roots from lowes and they didn't have any green on them... does that mean they are bad?

  • haa her videos are amazing!!!!!

  • I just love this woman, I can stop watching her videos

  • and if you use self pollinating you won't need to be the bee right?

  • I've grown strawberries in containers indoors in the past.. However, I keep losing the plants over the winter & I'm wondering if I'm losing them because I let them flower/fruit out the yr I get the plants (I'm always impatient to eat fresh berries). I didn't know they'll grow better when crowded. Is it still recommended to remove fruits/ flowers the 1st yr, even if the label doesn't mention it? If I use transplant fert. & establish roots that way can I let it fruit the 1st yr?

  • mines arent greeny leaves there just a big stem and tiny leaves on top

    anyone know why

  • what if you dont have the root to start with only the fruit itself

  • I have a question.. I live in New Jersey. I own a condo so space is limited. I wanted to grow strawberries but I'm not sure if Jersey's weather is too hot or not like this lady was explianing. Also.. when do you grow them.. summer time or winter time? Sorry.. I am very new to this. Just bought my first place and wanted to get into gardening. Any help would be really appreciated. I can only do contrainer gardening though since I live in a condo. There is plenty of direct sunlight on the patio.

  • @OreoCookieOreo NJ should be fine, in my opion, im no expert either but i know alot- trial and error works best esp for beginners. your behavior has much to do with your plants succcess as well- - how much you tend to them and how and so on- are all key

you might be better at one thing than another

just give it a whilre i purchased 2 SB plants YEARS ago and now i have so many i have to get rid of them over and over every fall. i used them for decorative plants on my terrace/balcony -lovem

  • think shes talking about where its to hot or cold. calm down. why did you even comment on it if you didnt like it. i think youre useless. im sure shes helping more people then you ever will

  • They're just strawberries, dude. No need for name calling...4th grader

  • LMFAO!

  • is there no light shifting.. imean like first couple of weeks 18/6 hours and then 12/12 hours

  • now this is what i'm talking about.informative vid. thanks! =)

  • can you grow them in winter inside??

  • @loymonteiro I think you can grow anything inside in the Winter. All you need is the correct temperature. You know how green house works? It keeps the temperature warm so anything can grow.

  • haha I am so silly when I'm drunk I totally click on these bogus links!

  • Strawberries definitely need lots of sun as, but don't let them cook.

  • Here they say strawberry likes hot sun. In another video they say strawberries like shade. Which one is it?

  • its because they generalise that to the temp there they will like either a hot humid shady spot or 70 - 80 degree direct sunlight with avereage humidity so not in a desert but not on the beach

  • i had a magazine that told me planting companions and my garden all grew beautifully

  • is basil thai the same as basil leaf

  • I have a question: Does every fruit have seeds? Can you plant strawberry seeds instead of a plant?

  • You can plant strawberries from seed but it is difficult...I recommend getting 1 or 2 yr old plants from a nursery that sells virus-free stock (so they don't die on you from disease). There are many good online nurseries. Best of luck :)

  • I got same wild strawberries from a farm and I replanted them in my garden in the city and they grew like crazzy too!!

  • My strawberry plants are flowering and spreading like crazy =D

  • Thank you! I really appreciate your video!!

Can't wait to plant my strawberries now! :)

  • last year i grew basil thai and i noticed that there were no bugs in the soil were i had grew them in also the earth smelled strong of basil i think i might try to make a bug repelent from this plant i was amazed how clean the soil was totally clean of bugs i had grew them in a planter

  • You just learned an old gardener's trick...should Google "companion planting", to learn what plants grow better when basil grows beside them. :)
