@gehris13gretsch and @danmankool Nooma is designed as a CE curriculum tool. The videos are conversation starters to be used in a small group or Sunday school setting under the direction of a facilitator or educator. As such, the videos are simply meant to be something to get you thinking. They are not the educational less unto themselves. That lesson comes in the conversation with others, hopefully under the direction of a learned instructor. As such, Nooma can be used with many audiences.
Well, Rob bell is in fact a heretic. This video gives a taste of his views. The main message that comes across here, is that Christ came to earth to give us this "this whole new way of life." Put in context with the rest of the NOOMA series, you will find that Bell is referring to Jesus' ethical way of living. Throughout the series Bell redefines the Gospel as this good news that we can change our way of living. He doesn't touch base on repentance, resurrection, etc.
Have you read his books? cause i have an he does talk about it. you must understand that Rob Bell writes for people who are already christians, not for baby christians and his videos are not for witnessing its for mature christians who want fresh view or a different view cause the church and Rob bell and any other christian will never have the bible completely figured out.
@the4gvn1 And you must be one of those whom Paul addresses while in Corinth and Galatia... go ahead read it. ...they are called the Book of The Corinthians and Galatians....oh and while you're at it, you may find Paul addressing some of your peeps in the Book of Romans ...particularly Chapter 1.
If your going to defend someone...at least do your homework first. ;)
IF YOU DON'T LIKE ROB BELL I DON'T LIKE YOU.

If the claim wasn't unique then why did they try so hard to hide the fact that He left an empty grave????

Jesus was a "New Age Heretic" too. Are you a part of the "brood of vipers" that Jesus talks about?

@gehris13gretsch ...yes, because of that reason alone...he sounds so interesting to those who are not interested in the true Gospel of Christ!
