I think the U.S English dialect is lazy, it's the same as proper English with some of the words shortened presumably to make it easier for American people to learn the language,

All due respect there's not a big enough difference to call it a seperate language. it's just the Yanks being childish trying to seperate themselves from colonial Britain.
