Well Stephen, if you want to watch rugby with tries, watch Rugby League. There is a reason Union is called "kick and clap". Someone kicks a goal and everyone claps....
No doubt people will think I'm trolling and negative rate this but, just about everything Stephen misses about 'rugby' can be found in rugby. It just isn't in rugby union, it's in rugby league.
@andygriff1987 Personally, I can't think of any other reason anyone would want to watch sports in the first place, they're so utterly pointless. Of course, his sexuality should be irrelevant, it's just that him being gay makes it a sensitive subject. Nobody gets offended for straight guys when their sexuality is brutally exploited in commercials with scantily clad ladies. He has never shirked away from talking about homosexuality (you could start with The Liar). Why should we?
@thgbeck Well yes, I guess they are pointless, but if you understand the game being played it is a joy to see it being played by professionals. I personally enjoy watching sports for the sport, I don't get some kind of thrill from watching men running about as I am straight. Women's beach volleyball on the other hand..
I appreciate not shirking away from homosexuality, but it's such a trivial aspect of a person, I see no reason to mention it in a video that has nothing to do with sexuality.
Rugby league is played by a bunch of thugs and rapists.

Shame on you Mr Fry, for promoting an alcohol product. Pretty sure Heineken will remove this comment. Alcohol kills. Ask Amy Winehouse.

@oneandonlynightshift
Yes, lets blame Amy Winehouse's death on alcohol. We can completely bypass the years of canabis, cocaine and heroin abuse.
This might come as a shock to you, but the vast majority of Rugby players drink beer.
Heineken even sponsors a major Rugby tournament! Shock horror!!!
The mindless actions of the few shouldn't be allowed to affect the enjoyment of the masses.
