@ThyREBORN I don't know when this trailer came out during development, but Fang wasn't intended to be a character. Later on they wanted Lightning to be more serious and put some of her original traits into a new character, Fang. So she probably didn't exist here.

As a huge FF fan, when I heard this guy refer to FFXIII as "quite possible the most anticipated gaming experience of all time," I became worried. For a few years Square-Enix seemed to be just making stuff, safe in the knowledge that whatever they gave us we'd be happy with simply because they told us it was going to be great.
After the massive failure of FFXIV it seems like they've woken up. FF has been going down hill, for me, since X-2. Here's hoping SE can make the series great again...

I'm a fan of FF but have never played XIII, but from what I've heard it's extremely linear. As in, you can't walk around the overworld freely or talk to NPCs, which really takes away from the feel of exploration and a huge world.

i really did not like 13, lacked so much. No interesting story, characters and sidequest thoroughly unimpressed, 7,8,9 and 10 were good. Square Enix cant make games for toffee, Squaresoft could!!!!
It's interesting to watch this video in heinsight. They've used footage from the last 3rd of the game. In the open plains, riding Chocobo. Looks very free and vast. A little misleading considering the majority of the final product.
I thoroughtly enjoyed FFXIII reguardless of hype. It's solid, great fun and worthy of the FF name.
the ps3 version is not 1080p its 720p and the 360 version is 520p(there no diffrence if you dont have HDMI cabels) the way i see it 3 discs or 20 minutes of installing il never wast 20m changing disc and trophys are no where near worth what achivments are
Square have already said there will be no need to install the game since they tackled loading issues early, no one in Japan has had to install it either. I do have both systems and download discs to my 360 anyway so it doesn't overheat or run the risk of scratching. Waiting 10 minutes for a game to install isn't a price to pay at all if it means preventing those problems plus preventing that jet engine noise filling the house.

As a huge FF fan, when I heard this guy refer to FFXIII as "quite possible the most anticipated gaming experience of all time," I became worried. For a few years Square-Enix seemed to be just making stuff, safe in the knowledge that whatever they gave us we'd be happy with simply because they told us it was going to be great.
After the massive failure of FFXIV it seems like they've woken up. FF has been going down hill, for me, since X-2. Here's hoping SE can make the series great again...

I don't know why you guys have to be so picky about games. Final Fantasy is a great game, best rpg games i played. Unlike other games, Final Fantasy dominates in graphics and musics, and a great story line. My opinion ><

I don't know why people dislike Final Fantasy XIII so much, I've played it until the end and I found it very interesting and a awesome title for the Final Fantasy series. Amazing graphics, good story and a fun battle system...what's so wrong with it?

I'm a fan of FF but have never played XIII, but from what I've heard it's extremely linear. As in, you can't walk around the overworld freely or talk to NPCs, which really takes away from the feel of exploration and a huge world.
But I won't judge.

this game is awsome great great back stories for the charecters sadly the side do get old but the battel sytem is the best out of all the final fantasys and it shows how each charecter has a connectino to each other i would give this game a 4 out of 5

i really did not like 13, lacked so much. No interesting story, characters and sidequest thoroughly unimpressed, 7,8,9 and 10 were good. Square Enix cant make games for toffee, Squaresoft could!!!!

It's interesting to watch this video in heinsight. They've used footage from the last 3rd of the game. In the open plains, riding Chocobo. Looks very free and vast. A little misleading considering the majority of the final product.
I thoroughtly enjoyed FFXIII reguardless of hype. It's solid, great fun and worthy of the FF name.

the ps3 version is not 1080p its 720p and the 360 version is 520p(there no diffrence if you dont have HDMI cabels) the way i see it 3 discs or 20 minutes of installing il never wast 20m changing disc and trophys are no where near worth what achivments are

Square have already said there will be no need to install the game since they tackled loading issues early, no one in Japan has had to install it either. I do have both systems and download discs to my 360 anyway so it doesn't overheat or run the risk of scratching. Waiting 10 minutes for a game to install isn't a price to pay at all if it means preventing those problems plus preventing that jet engine noise filling the house.
