The Scottish alterego is a very early version of Scrooge McDuck. In 1943, he was shown in the 'prototype' stage and was reworked over the years to his final character design seen on TV today.

very socialist idea in 43. Why would we want a country were taxes powered the economy. In capitalism spending drives the economy.
