@brittany5802 the silicone hasn't peeled off on any of my products because i sand the surface before applying it which gives a better grip for the silicone. it'll save time and effort in buying and applying puff paint for me. but everyone has a different style that works for them!
i got a new phone and i dont know where to find big put cheap paks of beads and rhinestons, at what stores do you buy them and are there some various sizes?
does the whipple break more easily than silicone would? because i like that this stuff seems lighter and my mom would be less concerned about me using whipple than silicone lol, but i don't want things to fall off or the tips of the "whipped cream" to break when i throw the phone in my bag?
@xZebrasGoRawrx i haven't used whipple but my experience with decotti (similar to the whipple set) is that they are much more sturdier than just using plain silicon. The curing time is slower too so it gives more of an opportunity for the cabochans to set. Whereas if you use plain silicon, the silicon can dry super fast -- sometimes so fast that there's little chance to get the cabochan in place. My recommendation is not to use plain hardware silicon until you get really good with cabochans =)
@christinesudewi regular silicon can dry really fast. for beginners, i really recommend getting a slower drying craft silicon which are usually sold in kits called decotti or whipple.
I love your videos but have some questions. I have that silicone but i can't find an icing tip that fits on it. how do you make yours fit? and why do you have to sand the case first?
@CraftitKawaii i bought a bunch of piping tips from michaels and some of them fit better than others but none of them fit perfectly for me too. what i've had to do is to hold the tip manually in place. it takes a lot of strength and patience...
@CraftitKawaii You can actually use packing tape. Wrap some around the tip to make the tip fit nicely on. Then wrap tape around the tip onto the silicone container. It works great, helps with the speed when applying. <3 Hope this helps sweety!!!
@CrunchyCrafts thank you so much for your sweet compliment =) the studio is in the process of moving but once we settle down, we'll definitely make more sweet vids! let me try to send you a link via msg.
i've just discovered this stuff and i've tried working with fimo and it would be really lovely to add whipcream to my crafts. it's so delishious. *-* You are really talented, i love your works! so could you tell me how does it work... making it? and does it get harder while being in the open air or smth? i'm sorry, my english is not that good. ^^'
@KiriYumi thank you very much for your compliment. you can order sets called whipple or decotti from ebay and try out the faux cream. it does start getting hard but usually you have an hour or so of time frame to work with. it'll cure afterwards in a few days =)
Can u show where to get supplys and where we can find them in cheap places because I am shocked of what you can do with a silicone tube and some beads
I don't get it though I's that real whipcream

the silicone will peel pff eventually if you dont use something like puff paint around the edges and seal it off pretty good.

I think I might just cut the tip of the silicone down pretty far and tape the icing tip on.

@CraftitKawaii i sand the case first so that the cream has a better surface to adhere to and won't come off as easily =)
