On a side note I saw Les and his wife walking together during the day in down town Santa Rosa (where I live) last Halloween while I was at a stop light. So cool he can just do his thing being a rock star, but be not be so famous where he's bugged constantly.

Actually the D's that Les in singing about is in Sebastopol, not San Francisco. I live about ten minutes from there and have been to D's many times. It's a really tiny and unassuming place. Right when you walk in the door, if you turn to your left and look on the wall there's a picture of Les with the lyrics to this song. The food there is good, but they take forever to make it. You'll be waiting a good 20 to 25 mintues to get a hamburger and fries. So only go if you're not in a hurry.
