Hi Chris. On the two Sterling trucks (one dump truck, one boom truck) I drive sometimes, I had to take apart the dashboard and see what the wires were for and their fuctioning purposes. Believe me, wasn't so good. Manufacture did a piss-poor job putting the wires away and not labeling them right. They work now after some work at the mechanic's shop.
I took my glove box out a few weeks ago and discovered why i never had radio reception in the truck. Some clown at the factory welded a bracket against the firewall pinning and grounding out the FM antenna. Let me tell you, it was fun replacing that and running it through the hollow mirror brackets!
Chris, Kenworth is really good about putting all options in whether they are used or not. Any questions let me know, I only work on kenworths everyday.
Im glad you made this video!! I was wondering myself what wire to tap into for air cleaner light power. I didn't wanna take apart the wiring I did already. What color did you get them in??
