UMvC3 Changes for Thor

So okay when I attempt to do an air combo into H mighty smash by the time it is fully charged they ae just starting to get up and it misses. am I just not mashing it fast enough? I usually go

l > ch > s > m > m > h > s > H mighty strike. For some reason I cant get the mighty strike to connect.

@DashingDavenport You just have to time your MMHS in the air, particularly the the two M's. If you do it too fast, then by time j.S hits, Thor is not back on the ground. The objective is basically to get Thor to land first, or at least soon enough, before the opponent getting spiked hits the floor.

Ah that makes perfect sense since I am used to just mashing MMHS as soon as I am airborne usually. Thank you this will make my Thor BnBs much more consistent. Also thank you for making such an informative video. Thor is a great character and to have men such as yourself out there working things out is a god send.

After a air combo, I mighty smash H might spark H mighty hurricane XF mighty hurricane DHC. It's basic but kills most in one go around like Sentinel. Does 1mil+

@holyjoey hey bro you can do it on vanilla version, I do, you gotta time it right, even when charging it, than follow up with another medium mighty smash, try it. Medium mighty smash follows high mighty smash fluidly.

since mighty smash's charge is much faster, do you think you could fully charge it to connect after any mighty hurricane? its kind of a long shot... but hey if it works it works!

Anyone who wants to mash better in UMvC3 should use the R2 button on PS3 (I don't know whether it works on xbox360 as well). It uses all 3 attack buttons at once and does not use the launcher button.

@KageHiRyu It was confirmed to be fake, Thor DIDN'T get any new moves. Just all his moves got improved substantially.

Oh an have you tried Trish with Thor? my team is Trish, Captain America and Thor, my fav combo is to start a crossover cobination and end with Thor's Tornado than Trish's round harvest its awesome, also you can jump up with trish an do her voltage, try it out bro. Good stuff. I guess he'll still be Thor, just easier to use. All versions of mighty strike give frame advantage......right? In vanilla only the aerial one is good. Does Thor still get air thrown during Mighty Smash? Oh and they're sayin that Spark causes more hit stun now. Think it'll be easier to follow with air dash and command throw now. Lookin at the hit stun and the increased reach of hurricane it should be. Good write up

I was reading up on him, and I saw that Mighty Punish has 1 frame start up invincibility now. Does that mean he can easily punish any ground projectile supers without getting knocked out of it (similar to Haggar/Tron/Nemesis/Ghost Rider grabs)?
