@caspianfilms1 Well a number of reasons. 1) Apple Shake is my primary weapon of choice for compositing because the node-based workflow allows me more freedom and ease of building complex composites compared to the layer-based setup After Effects offers. 2) When it comes to roto work, I would utilize Shake's paint tool for catching hair, although I have Silhouette's paint license now, so I do that right inside of Silhouette.
@caspianfilms1 It's erroneous to assume that After Effects is the only good package out there and that everyone uses it and shouldn't need anything else. That is simply not the case.
