this kid is absolutely amazing! he was picked 138th in this years draft! if he wasnt russian he could have easily been a first rounder. if he decides to make the leap over the pond to the nhl, it will definetly be the biggest steal of the draft hands down. many teams liked him they were just nervous that he will stay in russia! habs fan, you heard it hear first, if he plays for the habs he has the potential to be a player to build a team around. watch out for him. comparable to pavel bure
well there are alot of variable that will come in to play before we can talk about points in the nhl. first of all, he still has to develop, he needs to get stronger which he will no doubt but it takes time, and then probably the hardest thing will be to convince him to come to north america and leave russia. if these things are done, well then maybe at the peak of his career he can be looking at 70-80 points! remember though, this kid is still young and he still needs to mature!
who told you that he wanted to stay in russia he said that hes dream is to play in the nhl and everyone is saying that he is the next kovalev......hope so
I'm glad everyone is enjoying the vid! Too bad we didn't get a chance to see him at the WHJC this year. Perhaps next year in Saskatchewan, Maxim is still quite young (18 until September).
this guy looks really good and would fit in really well with either of the kostitsyn brothers, but sadly i was reading somewhere and it sounds like he wants to stay in russia for quite a while:(
24'000 fans will watch you each game doing your fancy move in the Bell Center(Montrel)...!
Dont stay too long in the KHL... Andrei Kostitsyn says that he loose one year of "development" resting in Russia. His brother Sergei goes faster in the NHL because he decides to come in North Americe when he was seventeen! ;)
Eeksbox! ahahaha! He is magically though

trunev is great, the habs got a steal in round 5, looks like he could have been a round 4, possibly 3

It's written everywhere that he shoots right, but he seems to be a left handed shooter in this video o.0
