We had a girl on our team that could have done 2 meets at level 4, 2 at level 5, and 2 at level 6 first year (2 meet minimum to move up) then been in level 7 before district championships, but she decided against it, even though when she joined team, she could do the lvl 4, 5, and 6 routines (a little weak on some bar moves, but not bad)
did you train for a year instead of competing for levles 5 or 6 ? or did you train during the summer and still compete lvl four while learning your level 7 skills?
I competed one year of level 4, then over the summer i got all the tricks I needed for levels 5,6, and then 7. I also hurt my elbow at the end of the summer and had limited practice for 2 months. I did the tricks that i could. That fall I competed 5,6. 1st level 7 meet in January.
well, i don't always get 9's haha. these were just some of my better meets. =) it wasn't too hard but i had to work pretty hard to get up to level 7. i didn't do very good my first year at level 7 but i got better =D. thanks!
well, you have to qualify out of each level before you can move on to the next. i did one full year of level four, then one meet of level 5, and like 3 meets of level 6.

That's a remarkable speed to move through the levels! Congratulations to her. With that kind of determination, there's no cap on her potential!
My daughter and I have enjoyed your videos!!
