Just read your article: Biochar for Climate Change Mitigation Fact or Fiction February 2009. While I understand your worries about industrial production of biochar, I am wondering if this would indeed be a way of improving soil and producing Terra preta type properties. I am an amateur gardener and have no axe to grind just very interested in the biochar debate.
